Getting to Bible Class On Time

GETTING ON TIME to places is sometimes a challenge for some people! The reasons why could be
many and may differ from person to person. In this brief article I want to discuss some helpful tips that
will help us to get to Bible class on time. As we examine each tip, let us determine in our hearts to
change the things we need to change so that we can give to God the best of us!

Tip # 1: We must acknowledge the fact that God deserves the best of us! (Mark 12:30). We can give
God the best of us by getting to Bible class on time. By being on time we let God know that we care for
Him and are deeply interested in learning from His Word. If you are late, then you will miss valuable
information from the Scriptures.

Tip # 2: We must determine ahead of time that we will get to Bible class on time (Psalm 119:57). If we
do not determine in our hearts getting to Bible class on time, then we will never do so. You must teach
your heart to be on time to places, especially to the study of God’s Word.

Tip # 3: We must acknowledge the fact that being on time to Bible class will help us to be a good ex-
ample to others (Matthew 5:16). We do not become a good example to others when we are always late
to Bible class. We must strive to be a positive influence to others!

Tip # 4: We must prepare ahead of time so that we can be on time to Bible class (Hosea 10:12). If you
leave preparation for the last minute, then you will always be late to Bible class. Prepare on time your
clothes, Bible, family, and anything that may keep you away from arriving on time to Bible study.

Tip # 5: If we know there will be a lot of traffic on the road, then we need to start driving ahead of
time than usual. Traffic is getting worse day by day! For this reason, we must make preparation to start
driving a few minutes ahead of our usual time. If we are always late because of traffic, then it is time for
us to consider how much time we will take to get to the building on time.

Llegando a la clase Bíblica a tiempo

¡LLEGAR A TIEMPO a lugares es a veces un desafío para algunas personas! Las razones podrían ser
muchas y pueden diferir de persona a persona. En este breve artículo quiero examinar algunos consejos
útiles que nos ayudarán a llegar a la clase bíblica a tiempo. Al examinar cada punto, determinemos en
nuestros corazones cambiar las cosas que necesitamos cambiar para que podamos dar a Dios lo mejor
de nosotros.
Consejo # 1: ¡Debemos reconocer el hecho de que Dios se merece lo mejor de nosotros! (Marcos
12:30). Podemos dar a Dios lo mejor de nosotros al llegar a la clase bíblica a tiempo. Al llegar a tiempo,
hacemos saber a Dios que cuidamos de Él y estamos profundamente interesados en aprender de Su Pa-
labra. Si llegamos tarde, perderemos información valiosa de las Escrituras.
Consejo # 2: Debemos determinar antes de tiempo que llegaremos a la clase bíblica a tiempo (Salmo
119:57). Si no determinamos en nuestros corazones llegar a la clase bíblica a tiempo, entonces nunca lo
haremos. Debemos enseñar a nuestro corazón a llegar a tiempo a lugares, especialmente al estudio de la
Palabra de Dios.
Consejo # 3: Debemos reconocer el hecho de que estar a tiempo para la clase bíblica nos ayudará a
ser un buen ejemplo para los demás (Mateo 5:16). No somos un buen ejemplo para los demás cuando
siempre llegamos tarde a la clase de la Biblia. ¡Debemos esforzarnos por ser una influencia positiva para
los demás!
Consejo # 4: Debemos prepararnos de antemano para que podamos llegar a tiempo a la clase bíblica
(Oseas 10:12). Si dejamos la preparación para el último minuto, entonces siempre llegaremos tarde a la
clase bíblica. Preparemos a tiempo nuestra ropa, Biblia, familia y cualquier cosa que pueda mantener-
nos lejos de llegar a tiempo al estudio de la Biblia.
Consejo # 5: Si sabemos que habrá mucho tráfico en la carretera, entonces tenemos que empezar a
conducir antes de tiempo que de lo acostumbrado. ¡El tráfico empeora día a día! Por esta razón, debe-
mos hacer preparación para comenzar a conducir unos minutos antes de nuestra hora habitual. Si esta-
mos siempre atrasados debido al tráfico, entonces es hora de que consideremos cuánto tiempo tomare-
mos para llegar al edificio a tiempo.
¡Consideremos en oración la aplicación de estos principios a nuestra vida cotidiana!
