PAS 68 30 Tonne Roadblocker

Our PAS68 30 tonne rated barrier stands 1165mm high and fits into ground with no
reinforcing of the concrete pit which is relatively shallow mount compared to other in
ground Roadblockers.

The 30 tonne offers the ultimate in site protection, guarding against the threat of attack
from larger vehicle types. There are a number of different models, designed for different
levels of threat.

Specifications and Technical Data

Axle Loadings: Will withstand any road vehicle

Composition: 10mm Steel plate reinforced to evenly distribute any impact giving unparalleled strength. Internal crash plate
supported by sectional steel mid plates covered with sacrificial front radius plate, incorporating impact absorption bars with additional
internal crash bars.
Welding in accordance with BS 4872-1:1982.

Cabinet: 1200mm high x 900mm wide x 600mm deep. 3mm Zintec Steel sheet.
Finished in grey. (Alternative colours available on request).

Motor: 4kW motor.

Immersed pump.
Extra Heavy duty solenoid valves (110V DC) for reliability in operation.

Options: Emergency Fast Operation (EFO) 6 Litre Accumulator.

Normal Operating Speed: 4-7 seconds.

Accumulator Speed: 1.5 seconds.(All times are approximate).

Power: 415V/3ph/50Hz. Alternatively, power to suit customer requirements.

PLC Control Voltage: 110V AC.

Controls: State of the art PLC controls with easy built in safety features and manual release. Push button supplied as standard.
Choice of entry systems, speech units etc.
Manual hand pump included for power failure.

Road blocker Finish: Optional galvanised wedge and hinge to BS EN ISO 1461. Primed and painted black and yellow.

Safety: Exceeds BS 6571-4: 1989. It is always recommended that safety loops, traffic lights and warning signs be used in conjunction
with the Road blocker.
Electronic vehicle detection. Encapsulated magnetic limit switches - IP67 rated.
Specialised high security control options available.

Durability: Test show operational after impact.

Sitework: Unique design does not require steel reinforcement of concrete for fitting.
No pre-cast pit required. Various levels of installation service available.
