In the early of 2020, COVID-19 has made a devastating impact on different industries
across the world. Thus, a survey was conducted to determine the outlook of different business
industries on the future effect of COVID-19 as well as their plans on the aftermath. Although
COVID-19 is, unfortunately, still prevalent to this day, let us have a look at the standpoint of the
different businesses that participated in the said survey in March of 2020.

According to the respondents, they agree that the COVID-19 pandemic undeniably
places a negative effect on their businesses. However, they expect the negative effects to only
be short-term. These businesses also only expected their revenues to fall by a small
percentage, based on their situation. On the other hand, many of the world leaders as well as
respondents believed that an inevitable economic downturn would occur given the
circumstances and the direct impact of COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this harsh expectation,
however, many of the respondents believed that their business operations would resume within
less than 6 months to over-a-year. As part of COVID-19 adjustments and recovery, the
respondents also predicted that remote work would become more prevalent in the future. Being
members of the business community, the respondents understood the devastating effects of the
COVID-19 pandemic on their respective businesses. Nevertheless, they concurred that they
were ready for future adjustments to be made in order to cope with the pandemic's long-term
effects.
