WORKPLACE RULES
Manage the employees in your workplace effectively with the use of rules that will protect your
business and maintain a better workplace environment for all.
ACTIVITY
Direction: Create your own workplace rules for the company that you created in
Entrepreneurship subject, give at least five (5) workplace rules. Proper work ethics must be
observed. Consequences or sanctions for each rule if not followed must be included. (20pts)
1 . Every employee must follow and obey the policy, rules and regulations imposed by the
BellyJelly’s company authorities. Sanction for disobeying may lead to suspension.

2. Employees must inform their higher ups atleast six hours prior to their shift. This also
applies to being late in their work time. Failure to inform their absence will have salary
deductions for the day/time of their absence.

3. Avoid drugs and alcohol at work. Drugs and alcohol not only impair motor skills, but
can also impair judgment and communication skills. Prescription drugs can also seriously
affect your ability to use machines and tools safely. If this is handled through the company's
standard disciplinary action, the penalties will range from verbal warnings to immediate
termination.

4. BellyJelly’s employees are liable to protect the company’s belongings of what they are
using. They will be held responsible for breaking any type of equipment. Breaking a company’s
equipment may lead to a fine amounted to the price of what an employee broke.

5. Employees must have a formal and acceptable behaviour at all times. Employees with
behavioural problems will be reprimanded if proven guilty by the company’s board.
