CHAPTER 2 : ANALYSIS OF THE PROBLEM

2.1 Current System

Researcher found out that STM Property Consult SDN. BHD. information system uses an
out-dated database system which cause they need to received registration manually and pile
information. This system will be stored into the computer using a spread sheet, word
processor or written in a ledger. The environment of the existing system is shown below in
figure 2.0.

2.2 Collection of Information

The entire collection of information for the new information system was done by filling in the
information needed for the tenants registration, the registration fee and the type of rental such
as food and beverage, kiosk, and so on. Existing user record documents are also referenced
and reviewed.
