STATION NO. 1
"A PATROL ON A HIKE"

A Patrol composed of the following was

noted hiking:
a. A deaf-mute leading the Patrol
STATION NO. 2
followed by a
"A PATROL AT PLAY"
b. Blind member who is assisted by a
c. Scout with crutches because of his
A Patrol of two-arm amputees was noted

STATION NO. 3
"A PATROL IN ACTION"
A patrol composed of 3 deaf-mutes, 3 blind
Scouts and 2 one-arm amputees were
observed constructing a suspended
flagpole at their campsite.
NOTE: To the Station Umpire: This patrol
shall be rated as to how Patrol spirit and
cooperation is practiced. "Blind" Scouts
should be blindfolds with their neckerchief.
STATION NO. 4
"A PATROL IN DISTRESS"
A Patrol of two-arm amputees on a hike got
lost and found along their way an abandoned
guard house, a typewriter, some coupon bond,
pentel pen and pencils on top of a table.
Immediately they sent the following message:
"NEED HELP ! ! ! GOING NORTHWARD."
NOTE: To the Station Umpire: This station is
to test the ability of the Patrol to think of a
solution to the problem of "armless" printing of
the message.
The correct answer is for the patrol to print on
the paper with the use of the ball or pentel
pen, "SOS!" However, the patrol should also
experience typing the message for purposes
of experience and for the value derived out of
it.
STATION NO. 5
"A PATROL IN CAMP"

A Patrol of blind Scouts are in camp

pitching their tent. They are in a hurry as it
seems that it would rain any moment.

NOTE: To the Station Umpire: The

objective of this activity is to determine the
Patrol spirit and cooperation. They can
use their neckerchief for their blindfolds.

Blindness does not necessarily mean total

blindness; Patrols may decide to have
some members play the role of half-blind
Scouts. (Use unfolded neckerchief for
blindfold.)
