Creative Arts: Visual Arts


Parent/facilitator will rate the 'Together Heart' that the child made in Visual
Arts this term.

1.Use of creative arts materials (cutting/painting/decorating/constructing)

Rate 1 if the child needed a great deal of assistance.


Rate 2 if the child needed some assistance.
Rate 3 if the child needed no assistance.

5.Learner must complete the following warm up routine:

1. Stretch arms high, count to ten, then stretch arms out wide and count to
ten.
2. Hop across the room and back with feet together (kangaroo hop)
3. Run on the spot for 1 minute

Award 1 point star for each activity completed successfully.

6.The learner must think about what the soundscape would be in a jungle.
They must then list all the sounds that would be heard and recreate the
soundscape with their voice/ body (eg. stomp like an elephant, squawk like a
bird etc).

Rate 2 if: The learner engaged in the activity and used a 1-3 sounds to depict
the soundscape
Rate 3 if: The learner engaged in the activity and used 3 or more sounds to
depict the soundscape.

1 .Locomotor: Child must count to 40, from 1-10 walking with big steps, from
10-20 with small steps, 30 -40 with big steps again.
