Course Description

The aim of this course is to equip students of management sciences with the knowledge of
essential human resource management concepts and techniques to be able to perform their jobs
effectively for HR/ Personnel Management. Additionally, the students should be able to analyze
and apply HR concepts/ theories in their research for advancement of knowledge.

GUIDELINES – FINAL GROUP PRESENTATION

In order to apply the theoretical knowledge gained during the course of studies, you are required to select an innovative theme/ topic of your own
intererst related to HRM. (Avoid overlap or similarity with any other group of your class). In a group of 3-5 students, you are required to present your
theme/topic alongwith its practical implication for about 20 minutes duration followed by Q & A. A hard copy of the report must be handed over to
me by the group leader before the presentation. The topic/ theme must be got approved from me latest by 28 March 2022. The presentation will be
held in the 16th Week. Use of multimedia & formal business dress is compulsory for the presentation. Each member of the Group will be required to

speak. The names of the groups must be submitted to me through class CR latest by 4th April 2022.

General Instructions
1. Please be punctual and observe class timings. Late comers for more than 5 minutes after commencement of class will not be marked present.

2. 75% attendance is mandatory for taking the final exam.

3. Please submit your assignments through LMS by the due date. All students are required to upload their quizzes and assignments
(both individual and group ) by the due date. Dates will not be extended for uploading late submissions.. Quizzes may be given unannounced
so please remain prepared for a surprise quiz at all times.
4. Please do not indulge in cheating and plagiarism. The copied assignments / quizzes will be
marked as ‘Zero’) and disciplinary action may be initiated against the defaulters.
5. Please be disciplined and maintain proper decorum in the class. Follow rules given in the student hand book.

6. Please wear dress as per laid down dress code. Defaulters will be fined and may not be allowed to sit in class.

7. Please observe laid down SOPs to prevent from COVID while keeping safe distance, wearing masks and use of hand sanitizer.

8. Please cooperate with class CR for execution of instructions.

9. Students may consult me regarding their academic issues/ problems / queries as per the timings displayed outside my office cubicle or set an
appointment with me personally or on phone.
