6- Due to the pace of change in the health services industry and the complexity of health services
organizations, the manager plays a significant role in leading innovation and spearheading
change management.. Organizational change is a structured management approach to
improving the organization and its performance. Achieving and maintaining high performance
outcomes or results is dependent on making improvements to the organizational structure and
processes. Operational innovation and management innovation both must be embraced and
executed. Healthcare managers must encourage change to effectively maintain performance.
They must follow key competencies such as
- Embrace change and be a change agent

- Recruit staff and succession plan with change management in mind.

7- Some of the health care market trends: (Patient Consumerization and Personalization of Care),
They affect the job as a manager hugely so Managers in health care organizations must make
frequent decisions, using collected data. They must decide how to direct and organize others,
and also how to control processes within the system. Moreover, health care managers must also
help others to reach their own decisions. Decision making, the act of selecting a course of action
from among alternatives, can be quite stressful in today’s dynamic and complex health care
industry. Health care managers can reduce their stress somewhat if they understand how to
deal with decision making and how to avoid common errors that lead to poor decisions.

8- Strategic planning in itself involves all the stakeholders in the organization. Although it conforms
to the bureaucratic hierarchy, events are shifted back and forth and execution is dynamic. At
times events have to be run parallel to each other. This, therefore, makes it a complex process
that cannot just flow up the ladder. It entails team coordination and since it is about the
organizations future it may lead to iterative executions of related events. This is important
because all parties need to be committed for a strategic plan to realize successful execution.

9- SWOT Analysis helps you to identify your organization's Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities,
and Threats. It guides you to build on what you do well, address what you're lacking, seize new
openings, and minimize risks. Apply a SWOT Analysis to assess your organization's position
before you decide on any new strategy.

SWOT analysis of a company is an integral part of the strategic planning process because it
provides a good all-around view of the company's current and forward-looking situation. The
strengths (S) and weaknesses (W) sections provide a look at the company's current position.
