Drawing the object:


1. To select the object, click on that object or line or rectange or
Circle. or enter in the command bar.
2. To deselect the object, press the esc key from the keyboard.

Short Cuts for Command


Line = L and press enter
Circle = C and press enter
Dynamic Function tool: When we draw line or any object it tells
us dimensions and other details
Press = F12 to bring dynamic , if you have dnt press

Press enter = to exit from the command

Navigation Tools
Use middle mouse wheel to navigate the object drawn
In Autocad three button mouse is recommended.
If you want to move any drawn object in drawing, navigation is
used.
For Autocad = Three button mouse is used.
With mouse wheel, you can zoom in and zoom out

Types of Object Selections


1.Windows Object Selection
2. Dashed Window or Crossing window selection
3. Lasso Selection
Setting Units
Before start of Drawing, the first step is to set the drawings.
To set the units Types UN
Iches , Decimal
Architecture = inches and Feet

Commands
L = Line Command
< angle Command

for Angles Polar Tracking Method (Press Shift +F10)


either we can put in command or we can select the angle from
the polar tracking. click on polar tracking and select the angle
which you require.

Ortho Mode (Press Shift +F8)


In this mode you force your lines to be made at 90 degree. or
multiples of the 90 degree.
horizontal or vertical lines.

Dynamic Input (Press Shift +F12)


Dynamic input helps you to make drawings very easily.
line dimension and angle can be set at one time
first enter the length value and tha press TAB and enter angle
value.
