Timeline Draft Graduation Project

. Data gathering: this process will consist of collecting information

about how people perceive the project, while receiving feedback.
● What type of data do I need? I need qualitative and quantitative data.

Qualitative to measure the possibility of my project staying in school, how

many people are interested in participating. And qualitative, because I
need to know also how people feel towards the project.
● How many data? My main audience is focused in students, since it

involves the student council and all the student community. Because it is
a new project, I thin for now will be okay implementing the project into
middle school and high school.
● In real life, what kind of research should be done? It should be done an
2
applied research. This type of research is designed to identify solutions
to specific problems or find answers to different questions.

. Prototyping process: this process will consist of working towards

the final product and define important details to make it possible.
● What is my final product? My final product will be having open sessions

with the student council, or having a particular time to talk to the

spokesperson of the school abut things students may want to suggest or
say.
● How will I test and receive feedback? First there will be surveys about the

possibility of implementing the project. Then there will be a try-out

period of time, then another round of surveys to see if people liked the
idea or not, and defining how it is going to be implemented into the
school.

● How many prototypes should I have? I will have 2 prototypes

. Data analysis: The stage of the project is about analyzing my data

and implementing changes into the prototype
● Was my data useful?
● How will I use the data in the final prototype?
. Shark Tank: This consists of presenting my idea to some teachers
4
and people from the school to gather support and feedback.
● Is the research question and main product evident?
● Who is my target audience?
● Am I being effective when communicating my ideas?
● How will I receive feedback?

. Final product: In here there will be the evidence of the final

prototype and official “launch” of the project
● How will I present my final product?
● Is it competitive in real life?
● Am I taking into account me/others/context?

. Idea communication: Article and final pitch

● Is the research article effectively communicating sound evidence,
commendations and recommendations?
● Is my final pitch clear enough to persuade others to take action?
