Introduction
A project that we using rice starch- based bioplastic as an alternative for commercial plastic

Review of Related Literature

We all know that Plastics are already a part of our lives. We can mainly see it in the
groceries, packed foods

because it is flexible, lightweight, and strong to hold like wet type of staff That makes it
ideal for packaging, its largest

use. It’s also commonly used in clothing and single-use items such as straws. Ordinary
people

might not know that it is very dangerous not only to people but to our environment as well.

It creates pollution, too. An alternative was used to solve the problem. It is non

degradable, but it can be recycled called Bioplastic. It is plant-based plastics that can be an

alternative for traditional petroleum-based plastics.

Methodology

The materials and ingredients that we are going to use in making a rice starch-

based bioplastic are rice starch, kanjivellam or rice water, glycerin, vinegar pot, spring

scale mixing rod and molders.

Procedures

We used some output of the experiment for our discussion and also evaluate these according to

comparisons in terms of their appearance using the Likert scale. We also used the Tensile Strenght Test in

order to identify the maximum amount of the force that can be taken by the product and will use spring

scale to determine whether it can carry the amount of weight as an alterna tive.
Summary, Conclusions and Recommendations

This is the future we lead to the final chapter of the research, finally. It was difficult for us to
conduct

experiments, discussions due to the current situation we are in, COVID-19.

The experiment was done perfectly. It was determined that using rice starch and

(Kanjivellam) as components in the production of starch-based bioplastics were effective. We are

looking forward to know more how it will be effective and efficient using these components in

other aspects.
