Kasal Mo: Android Based Wedding Planner Application

Background of the Study

Technology’s existence benefits humanity in many different ways. In terms of

completing daily jobs and activities, it has made life simple and easy. This capstone
project. “ Kasal Mo: An Android-Based Wedding Planner Application, “ was created
with the specific goal of streamlining interactions between wedding planners or
organizers and their clients. It is an android-based platform that will enable a
successful connection between them so they may arrange the wedding without
having to have face-to-face conversations.

A large portion of wedding organization and planning is done by hand, when

clients and wedding planners meet in person to talk about and plan the wedding. It
is necessary for wedding planners and clients to discuss the plan, offer pictures of
the venue, and make other wedding-related arrangements. For a wedding to be
successful, a lot of work is put in by both the customer and the wedding planners.
They will have to spend a lot of time and effort on the wedding preparations. The
current approach has both physical and time limits. This isn’t the best course of
action because it won’t work in circumstances like the one we’re in right now, when
we’re battling a COVID-19 outbreak that’s restricting our capacity to travel.

Proposed Solution

To Address the concerns mentioned earlier, the researchers proposed the

development of the android-based wedding planner application. The app is intended
to be used by wedding organizers in transacting with their clients. The application
will digitally transition the transactions between wedding organizers and their clients.
The application will have a simple interface that will allow a seamless and efficient
connection between wedding planners and clients. The app is designed to streamline
communication of both sides. It also has features that will enable displaying images
of wedding preparations and arrangements like the design and venue of the wedding
and reception, the wedding invitation, list of guests, and other essential structures
planning for a wedding will be carried out in an easy, efficient, and hassle-free
manner.

Objective of the Study

Generally, the project aimed to develop a platform that will digitally transition
wedding planning transactions.

The researchers specifically aim to:

1. To design an android-based application that will streamline communication
between wedding organizers and their clients.
2. To allow virtual conduct of meeting for wedding arrangements.
3. To develop an application that will allow wedding organizers to upload sample
images for the wedding preparations.
4. To implement a system that is reliable to carry out wedding planning without
physical intervention.
5. To evaluate the application in terms of user acceptability, effectiveness, quality,
productivity, and dependability.

Scope of the Study

The focus of this study is creating an Android-based wedding planning software.

The application is only intended for use in organizing and planning weddings. Only
functions that enable easy contact between wedding planners and their clients and
the uploading of wedding design photographs will be included in the application’s
design. A representative sample of participating wedding planners, their clients
(couples), and other study end user will be gathered by the researchers.

Significance of the Study

The success of the project is considered to be advantageous for the following

individuals or groups:

Wedding Organizers/Planners - the system will ease up and simplify their work. It
will allow them to offer a convenient platform to transact with their clients. They can
successfully make wedding arrangements without the need for physical
interventions.

Clients - they can connect with their wedding planner in an easy and hassle-free
manner using the application.

Researchers - as a result of the research, they will have a better understanding of the
project and will be more knowledgeable about it.

Future Researcher - the study will inform them and act as a guide for their future
research on the project.
