BENEFITS OF FACE-TO-FACE AND ONLINE CLASS AMONG 3RD

YEAR COLLEGE STUDENTS IN ST. LOUISE DE MARILLAC


COLLEGE OF BOGO.

Rationale

Students has a role in the society, they apply their knowledge and skills to
improve themselves. Unlike in face-to-face class, there are many things to do
like oral recitation, sharing ideas, performing in front of the teachers and
classmates. Students are socializing with others. They are focusing their mind
in doing tasks. Meanwhile, students in online class are engaging on the
process of learning, they use gadgets at home that can connects to wifi and
others are using mobile data to access the class. They are answering their
activities, discussing power point presentation, brainstorming ideas through
online. However, face-to-face and online class has a benefits for students, they
are more eager to learn, enhancing knowledge and skills, and mold
themselves. Also students should know what class is preferable for them.

In the study, it shows that one of the problems of the students is that having a
high cost of school fess and low of self-esteem. Some individuals lacks of
financial support. In terms of expressing owns idea to present in the class or
participating in answering the teachers question, there are certain students
who does not engage in participating because they do not have the confidence
to express it. However, if the students know how to manage their accounts,
thinks that has a right outcomes and really understand it, it will become the
benefits of the students and both classes.

The purpose of this study is to now if there is a significant relationship does


the students expose in face-to-face and online class.

THE PROBLEM
Statement of the problem

The primary purpose of the study is to determine the benefits of the


face-to-face and online class among 3rd year college students in St. Louise de
Marillac College of Bogo for school year 20202-2021.

Specifically, the study addressed the problem by answering the


following research questions:

1. What does the students prefer when it comes to learning in terms of;

1.1 Face-to-face class; and


1.2 Online class?

2. Which class does the students can save and learn more?

2.1 Face-to-face class; and


2.2 Online class?

3. Is there any significant relationship between the students in terms of


their exposure towards the benefits to face-to-face and online class?

The researchers believe that the study has benefits the following sectors in
varied ways:

Students. This study greatly influence the learning growth and ability of
students especially in terms of the students expose on face-to-face and
online class. They could know what specific terms that need to be improve
and be given a chance to enhance the other skills they have. They can be
able to determine their strong and weak points in classes and terms.

Teachers. The finding of the research is generating information on the


students need and which could optimistically be applies appropriate
methods in the class as one of the task of the students. Hopefully, this helps
their students and themselves to produce better performance in the class.
Administration. The result of the study is serves as a reflection for
planning suitable activities for the teachers they supervise as well as for
the students. This is provides a better choice for making decision and
regulating policies.

Future Researchers. This study is serve as a reflection and guide for


further related studies. This also help them expand and could use as basis
in terms of the students expose on face-to-face and online employ in the
class.

Researchers. The researcher has gain a clearer understanding leading to


purposeful insight relevant to their specialization/profession as to
experience how to conduct a study focusing in the class.
