Goodmorning to everyone my dear future teachers!

Goodmorning Sir

We are the first presentor

So last time napag aralan po natin ang process of developing instructional objectives. As we discussed it
to us. Ang instructional objectives daw ay must be SMART specific, measurable, attainable, relevant,
and timebound. So bilang tayo ay magiging future Teachers we must develop our test items that should
match with the instructional objectives appropriately and accurately.

In This module,, we will be discussing about Designing and Developing Assessments.

For lesson 1 we have the characteristics of quality assessment tools and lesson 2 is about the different
types of teacher-made tests.

For lesson one,it will be dicuss by ms.partible and ms.estrada

For lesson 2 it will be discuss by your’s truly,ms elinzano,ms suldao,ms limos and ms lampa

.So lets start with lesson 1. May I call on ms partible.

THANK YOU FOR ESTRADA, SO NOW LETS GO TO LESSON 2 WHICH IS THE types of teacher-made tests

So meron daw tayong ibat ibang types of test in assessing our students like objective test, subjective
test, performance based assessment, oral questioning, portfolio assessment, selfassessment and
checklist. So ito pong lahat ay may different function and use.So dapat if gagawa po tayo ng assessment
dapat nakaappropriate ito in the objectives of our lesson.

So meron po tayong dalawang general type of test that we should use in achievement test. This are
selectiontype items and supply-type items.

Hindi naman napo bago satin ang word na selection type items diba po,kasi pag sinabing selection type
items ito ay nirerequire po natin sa ating students to select the correct response from several

options. This is also known as objective test item that Objective test item requires only one correct
answer in each item.

And Supply type items naman is we require our students to create and supply their own answer or

perform a certain task to show mastery of knowledge or skills. It is also known as Subjective test item
that requires the students to organize and present an original answer and perform task to show mastery
of learning or supply a word or phrase to answer a certain question

(In this section, we shall discuss the different format of objectives and subjective types of test items and
the general guidelines, the advantages and disadvantages and examples.
So Multiple choice test(basahin)

Multiple-choice item consists of three parts: the stem, the keyed option and the

incorrect options or alternatives.

Pag sinabi po nating stem it represents the problem or question usually

expressed in completion form or question form. The keyed option naman is the correct answer.and

The incorrect options or alternativesalso called distracters o pang gulo.

1. Construct each item to assess a single written objective

Dapat meron lng po tayong isang objective para ma analyze agad ng ating students.

2. Base each item on a specific problem stated clearly in the stem.

Dapat direct to the point ang problem na ilalagay natin para hindi sila maguluhan.Kasi pag paligoy ligoy
ung problem na ibibigay natin mas magguluhan sila.

3. Include as much of the item as possible in the stem, but do not include irrelevant material.

4. State the stem in positive form (in general).

5. Word the alternatives clearly and concisely

6. Keep the alternatives mutually exclusive.

7. Keep the alternatives homogeneous in content.

8. Keep the alternatives free from clues as to which response is correct.

8.1 Keep the grammar of each alternative consistent with the stem

8.2 Keep the alternatives parallel in form.

8.3 Keep the alternatives similar in length.

8.4 Avoid textbook, verbatim phrasing.

8.5 Avoid the use of specific determiners.

8.6 Avoid including keywords in the alternatives.

8.7 Use plausible distracters.

9. Avoid the alternatives “all of the above” and “none of the above” (in general).

10. Use as many functional distracters as are feasible.

11. Include one and only one correct or clearly best answer in each item.
12. Present the answer in each of the alternative positions approximately an equal number of times, in a
random order.

13. Lay out the items in a clear and consistent manner

14. Use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

15. Avoid using unnecessarily difficult vocabulary. 16. Analyze the effectiveness of each item after each
administration of the test.

And now meron po tayong 4 levels of multiple choice test.

We have (basa)

IN KNOWLEDGE LEVEL. IS A kind of question THAT WE ARE REQUIRING OUR STUDENTS TO ONLY
RECALL.

FOR EXAMPLE; (BASA)

COMPREHENSION LEVEL IS A QUESTION THAT the students required to describe WHAT IT IS

HAPPENING.OR WHY IT IS HAPENNING.

FOR EXAMPLE(BASA)

application level NAMAN IS WE REQUIRED OUR students TO asked OR TO

apply the formula and solve for the variance.

EXAMPLE.

AND LAST, ANALYSIS LEVEL IS A QUESTION THAT IS DISTINGUISHING . FOR EXAMPLE IN THIS
EXAMPLE(BASA) SO DTO DAPAT IDIDISTINGUISH NG STUDNTS KUNG ANO UNG GINAMIT UNG
PAGKAKAIBA NILA.

AND THAT ARE THE EXAMPLES OF MULTIPLE CHOICE SO NOW LETS GO TO THE ADVANTAGE AND DIS
ADVANGES NAMAN.
