I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, learners are expected to:

1.Identify the different conventions in writing references using


the APA 7th edition format
2. use conventions in citing sources
2. write bibliographical entries

A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates a concrete understanding on the prosodic


features of speech, study or research skills, making sense of unfamiliar
words using non-linear text to show relationships between ideas
through oral literatures of selected Afro-Asian countries and
informative text to familiarizes oneself with the tradition and values
that will guide him on his identity as Asians.

B. Performance Standards
The leaner performs an informative and creative exhibit to show the different
traditions of values on selected Afro Asian countries.

A. Introduction Supplemental Activity

Ask the Question :

Have you ever written a research paper? Specially in your Science


Subject you were told to write and come up with a research paper .

Using the guides below which part shows the citation of sources
employed

Learning Task 1 : Study the bibliographical entries below. Put a


check if the entry is written and X if it is not .
Learning Task 2 : Examine the bibliographical entries below.
Write T if the statement is true and F if it is false.

Supplemental Activity
Using the information in the box convert them into one
bibliographical entry. Turn in your answers on our classwork from
our google classroom . I will send this activity in your respective
google classroom
Goal Orientation
● The learners will do the walkthrough of the lesson expectations.
● In this part, the content of the lesson will be presented.
● Learning objectives will also be introduced to guide the learners
on the learning targets founded on KSAV principles.

B. Development Allow the students to watch the youtube video discussing


about the APA 7th edition format.

write the APA 7th edition format.

Learning Task 4 Rewrite the given bibliographical entries
using APA 7th edition format,

Supplemental Activity :
Create a vlog about COVID 19, this maybe your experience
or observations on people who are infected with the virus and
teach the people how to protect themselves with COVID 19.
Make sure that your ideas being presented in the vlog must
have references. Then write/ include these references at the
end of your video using the APA 7th edition format.
*(The references will be coming from any book or from any
website or youtube channel.)

C. Engagement

Open the website they are going to read the site then an activity
will be given where the learners could answer the given
questions after answering they will turn in their answers to the
google classroom

D. Assimilation

Supplemental Activity
Look for a reference about COVID19 articles or website ,identify the
reference using the APA 7th edition.
(This activity will be sent through google classroom and turn in ,as for
their submission.)

be asked to share their reflection of the lesson.
