TEST III
1.One common strategy that teachers use is called pair-share. This can be easily adapted into most
classrooms by asking students to collaborate with an “elbow” partner or person close by. Students can
discuss a question or topic, and then share with the whole class.

2.Classroom collaboration also encourages communication and cooperation among students and in
effect allows them to teach one another. In some instances, students actually understand the material
better when it is explained by their peers.

3. While Constructivism focuses on personal experience as the foundation for learning new material,
Cooperative Learning utilizes not only the student's own experience to solidify knowledge, but also uses
the experiences of others

4. Constructivism promotes social and communication skills by creating a classroom environment that
emphasizes collaboration and exchange of ideas. Students must learn how to articulate their ideas
clearly as well as to collaborate on tasks effectively by sharing in group projects.
5. By learning how to solve problems, think critically, apply information, and integrate knowledge,
students can learn to think like experts in a discipline. ... Learner-centered teaching encourages students
to reflect on what they are learning and how they are learning it

Actual hands- on activities are still the most effective Experts emphasize the importance of deep
means of learning understanding over the recalling of facts. Students who
learn with meaningful learning are able to problem
solve better than those who learn by rote. Meaningful
learning teaches students important cognitive skills they
will use throughout their life.Hands-on activities let the

Teachers challenge them to come up with their creative Teachers often have biases against creative students,
styles of presentation fearing that creativity in the classroom will be
disruptive. They devalue creative personality attributes
such as risk taking, impulsivity and independence. They
inhibit creativity by focusing on the reproduction of
knowledge and obedience in class.
