1-Course Aims:
This course aims to provide the students with the principles and skills of energy
economic. Also it concerns with calculation of the cost power generation from
different energy sources (Renewable and non-renewable).

2- Course Objectives
Upon the completion of this course, the student will be able to;

1. Define various types of costs in power generation.


2. Evaluate the cost of power generation.
3. Apply the principles of energy economics on various power generation
methods.
4. Compare between various methods of cost analysis.
5. Compare between various methods of power generation economically.
