WHAT IS ZUMBA
What exactly is Zumba, then? Is it a
workout? a style of dancing? or a fitness
regimen?

Zumba is one of the exercise programs


that may offer a full-body workout and a
dance class. Zumba is an exercise
program that uses Latin American music
and dance moves. You'll follow a
choreography in a Zumba class that
includes squats to tone your glute and
core muscles, arm exercises to tone your
arm muscles, and footwork to
strengthen your leg muscles.

there are two types of Zumba. Zumba
Gold-toning and Zumba Sentao. Zumba
Gold-Toning — a toning class for older
participants with the goal of improving
muscle strength, posture, mobility, and
coordination. Zumba Sentao — a chair
workout that focuses on using body
weight to strengthen and tone the body.
