Intended use of this guide
This guide provides information about software settings that require manual
configuration when transferring clinical settings between CARESCAPE B450 and B650
monitors with different CARESCAPE software versions. The new or changed settings
will remain in factory defaults in the destination monitor when you transfer the
settings from a source monitor with an older software version. You must configure the
settings listed in this document manually for all the software packages and profiles in
each destination monitor.
You cannot transfer platform settings between monitors with software version 2 and
software version 3. For information on configuring the platform settings manually,
refer to the monitor’s service manual.

About this guide

In this document, the following conventions are used to refer to different software
versions:
● Software version 2.0.6 refers to software version 2 with host build 2.0.6.
● Software version 2.0.7 refers to software version 2 with host build 2.0.7.
