Covid-19 Pandemic brought many changes and challenges in the Philippine education
system but we, Tuktukan Elementary School was able to cope with these circumstances.
English is a tool subject. When one understand and learn the skill in communication, he/she
will learn and understand the other subjects. So teaching English subject requires time, health, mind
and body and good stimuli.

This report intends to:

1. Give information about achievements/ accomplishments made by the teacher and the
Pupils.
2. Identify the activities undertaken to achieve the desire target for the School Year
2021-2022.
3. Express future plans for the subject.

A. Pupil Development

1. Conducted a diagnostic test in English subject.


2 .Implemented different intervention programs with the help of the pupils’
parents and guardians to enhance reading and comprehension like ECARP,
Word for the Day, Paragraph a Day, A Story a Day.
3. Joined the celebration of National Reading month.

B. Teacher Development

1. Attended District Virtual Research Caravan 1.0


2. Attended Virtual In-Service Training For Public School Teachers
3. Attended District Webinar on Contextualizing the Learning Modalities in Teaching the K to 12
English Grades 1-6 Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs)

C. Curriculum Development

1. Finished/ completed the required learning competencies for each grade level
during the 1ST quarter up to 4TH quarter.
2. Assessed pupils’ performance through different tests.
3. Continuous preparation of Instructional Materials.
4. Created and distributed self learning modules (SLM), weekly home learning plan
(WHLP) with answer sheets and learning activity sheets (LAS)

D. Physical Facilities Development

1. Encouraged pupils’ parents/guardians to set up a conducive study area at home.


1. Continuous room structuring to make them conducive for learning.
2. Provided updated information for the subject through bulletin and display boards.
3. Put up functional reading corner in every classroom.

IV. FUTURE PLANS

1. Solicit 99% support from the parents and other stakeholders.


2. Procure Multi-media equipment
3. Eradicate non-reader
4. Put up School library
