TGVN 4 June 2020 - Chiều 4/6, tại Trụ sở Bộ Ngoại giao, Phó Thủ tướng, Bộ trưởng
Ngoại giao Phạm Bình Minh đã tiếp Đại sứ Nhật Bản Yamada Takio đến chào xã giao
nhân dịp nhận nhiệm vụ mới tại Việt Nam.

Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh
Minh received the Japan’s Ambassador Yamada Takio who came to greet formally
in the occasion of receiving new missions in Vietnam)

Tại buổi tiếp, Phó Thủ tướng tin tưởng, với kinh nghiệm ngoại giao phong phú, Đại sứ sẽ
đóng góp tích cực cho việc thúc đẩy quan hệ Đối tác chiến lược giữa Việt Nam và Nhật
Bản không những vì lợi ích của hai nước, mà còn vì hòa bình, ổn định, hợp tác và phát
triển ở khu vực và trên thế giới.

At the meeting, DPM expressed confidence that by the variously diplomatic

experience, the Ambassador would have positive contribution to the promotion of
strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan, because of not only the interests
of two countries, but also the regional and international peace, stability, cooperation
and development.

Đại sứ Yamada Takio bày tỏ vinh dự được cử làm Đại sứ tại Việt Nam trong bối cảnh hai
nước đã và đang kiểm soát tốt dịch Covid-19, Việt Nam đang đảm nhiệm cương vị Chủ
tịch ASEAN và Thành viên không thường trực Hội đồng Bảo an Liên hợp quốc. Đại sứ
khảng định sẽ nỗ lực hết sức mình để thúc đẩy quan hệ hai nước ngày càng phát triển tốt
đẹp.

Ambassador Yamada Takio expressed his pleasure of being assigned to be

Ambassador to Vietnam in the context that both countries had controlled effectively
the COVID -19 pandemic, Vietnam played the role of ASEAN’s Chairman and Non-
permanent of UNSC. He affirmed that he would make his great effort to strengthen
the increasingly great development of the relation between the two countries.
