Mabuhay everyone! I am Seth and welcome to Cebu Technological University – Argao Campus.

For
today I will give you a campus tour and we’ll explore the whole school and discover some insights
about its past. So, let’s start.

As you can see, right after you enter the entrance gate or passageway, you will be welcomed by the
guardhouse, where all the guards and some campus security staff mostly stay. Before you can
successfully enter the campus, you will have to do the temperature check and then the guards will
also check the contents of your bag.

After you passed the guardhouse, there is the (order of the building with their
functions/descriptions)

History:

CTU – AC is a satellite campus of Cebu Technological university but prior to that, it began as an
extension campus of Cebu Provincial High School in Cebu City in 1945 before the arrival of the
Americans in Cebu to carry on the pre-war classes. It was founded on July 1, 1945, as the Cebu South
Provincial High School by the Provincial Board and the local educational authority. Out of the money
allocated for war reparations in 1949, buildings were built. In 1961, Cebu South National High School
was subsequently established at the institution. Cebu South Agro-Industrial School replaced it after
seventeen years. It changed its name to CSCST-Agro-Industrial and Forestry College in 1984. And
now it promotes as a premier institution that offers different programs to students.
