LEARNING RECOVERY PLAN


SY 2022-2021

I. INTRODUCTION
For the past two years Covid-19 attacks the whole world and our country, including the province of Abra that causes
trouble to many life and the health of many. The educational set-up was greatly affected due to limited or suspension of
learning activities to prevent the spread of the dreadful virus. Thus, affecting the learning performance of our learners
because they can’t fully engage themselves in the various learning activities they must enjoy. As a result, learning
outcomes deteriorates and the school MPS for the 4th quarter of the S.Y 2021-2022 is significantly low. Therefore, the
pupils in general have not fully mastered and understand the lessons with the use of adopted learning modalities because
of many different reasons. The result of the PHIL-IRI Pretest for the SY 2022-2023 shows as well that there are non-
readers and significant number of pupils under frustration level.
In view of this situation, the school pursue to address the learning losses and fill up the learning gaps caused by
the physical absence of learners in the classroom for two school years.
In line with the Basa Abrenio, a reading intervention program of the division for schools with non-readers and
frustration level learners, San Antonio Elementary School crafted Recovery Plan to enhance the reading performance of
identified learners in order to improve the academic performance and achievement of SAES learners.

II. GENERAL OBJECTIVE/S:

This Recovery plan aims to:


1. Improve learners’ academic performance
2. Increase participation rate

Specifically:
1. Increase MPS in the different learning areas from 64.32% to 75.00% at the end of the 4 th quarter
2. Eradicate number of non-readers from 2 to zero.
3. Decrease number of learner under frustration level from 86 to 20
4. Maintain 0 failure rates in all learning areas from K-6
5. Maintain 0 repeaters and PARDOS in all grade levels
