Meeting Minutes
I. Welcome & Introductions (15 Minutes)
A. Lakeba Hollar-Conway, PTO Vice-President
● Approval of Agenda
○ Mrs. Hollar-Conway made a motion to approve the November 2022 Meeting Agenda
○ November 2022 Meeting Agenda Unanimously approved
● Approval of October 2022 Meeting Minutes
○ Mrs. Hollar-Conway made a motion to approve the October 2022 Meeting Minutes
○ October 2022 Meeting Minutes Unanimously Approved.
● PTO Programming
○ Thank you for all your support during the Winter Wonderland Fundraiser!
○ PTO donated $250 for the school to purchase candy for the Trunk-or Treat Event
○ Upcoming programs include Grandparents Night. Winter Clothing/Coat Drive and Christmas
Programming
● New PTO Website
○ Petitioned the school administrators to place a direct link on the school’s website

● Community Updates
○ Sent every Monday and Wednesday
■ Events, Job opportunities, Free programming for adults and children, and more
■ Please share any resources you may come across
● Ms. Martinez shares the community resources via email or class dojo
● Mr. Morris will share PTO programming updates
○ Please check Class Dojo and your email to access these amazing updates!
● Financial Resources
○ We are always seeking grants to help enrich the school community. If you know of any
grants or resources that the school may benefit from please reach out to the PTO.
● PTO Standing Committees
○ If you are interested in joining the PTO and contributing to the school community, we are
seeking membership as well as Chairs for our Standing Committees:
○ We are seeking members to serve on our standing committees
○ We are looking for 4 chair people (1 chair and co-chair for each committee)
■ Fundraising & Sponsorship Committee
● Members of the Fundraising & Sponsorship Committee are dedicated to
raising money and donations such as goods and services as well as
organization/company sponsorships that support programs and incentives.
○ Led by Mrs. Maldonado and Ms. Moody
■ Events & Programming Committee
● Members of the Events & Programming Committee are dedicated to
developing standalone and collaborative events/programs for students,
teachers and parents.
○ Led by Mrs. Romero and Mrs. Hollar-Conway
○ The seats of President, Vice President and Corresponding Secretary will be vacant at the end
of this year. Anyone interested in learning more about the role and wants to be a part of the
PTO Executive Board should email us.
○ Please spread the word about the PTO meetings and programming!

● 2022-2023 Fundraising Campaign
○ Kastle Kreations - Winter Wonderland
■ October 17th - November 2nd
■ We will need parent volunteers to help sort the deliveries once received
■ 40% of the proceeds will come back to the school
○ MealTime
■ To donate you create an account. Your scholars OASIS ID# is needed. If you do not
have this information, you can contact Ms. Aponte-Cortes.
■ Minimum donation is $20
■ We thank you in advance for your donations to support the PTO in our endeavors to
create and plan fun and engaging activities for our scholars
