1.1 Background of the study
1.2 We can find mathematical applications in nature, technology, architecture, machinery, construction,
industry, banking, research, cartography, and so on. Genetics and the use of mathematics in nature
are particularly fascinating. In genetics, statistical approaches are employed to test hypotheses. We
can develop statistical explanations of quantitative relationships using mathematics.

Mathematics is crucial in human life since it is employed in so many sectors, including the study of
nature, numerous types of technology, architecture, the building industry, banking, scientific research
cartography, and so on (Hodanova & Nocar, 2016). Mathematics is a scientific branch of study in which
numerical relationships, measurements, and operations are examined and carried out using numbers
and symbols (Yadav, 20117).Yadav, 20117)

1.3Statement of the problem

The aim of this research is to demonstrate that mathematics is not only the basis in technical
fields but is also applied in the nature. Mathematics is the basis for research methods. Mathematics

Is a part of our daily routine and influences the quality of our life and the quality of our professional
orientation.

1.4This study aims to know;

a. Central tendency of the gathered data

b. Measures of position of grouped data

1.3 Significance of Study

This study will serve as;

To the student,

They will try to find and ask for help what to improve.

To the teacher,

To help the students to improve.

1.5 Presentation, Analysis and Interpretation of Data

This chapter shows the presentation of the gathered data.

1.6Conclusion

The Central tendency or the mean, median or mode of the gathered data;
means resulted as 32.47 the median 32 and mode are 29. Overall, the tendency
measures is defined as the number use to represent the center or middle of a set
of data.
With the given solving for measures of position the quartile two made to 32
the decile seven resulted 39 and the eighty-fifth percentile with 25.5 or 26.
Measures of position are used for quantitative data that falls on some numerical
scale. Sometimes, measures, can be applied to ordinal variables those variable
that have an order, like first, second…. Fiftieth. Measures scales compare.
