operation and individual interactions have brought the hospitality business into crisis,
as governments around Calapan City take extraordinary measures to control the
pandemic. Many accommodation establishments are now starting a new phase in
their fight against the virus while resuming their operations. During the crisis,
governments took a variety of approaches to accommodation operations. According
to (Golla, 2021), with new health and safety rules, the position of a hotel operations
manager and hotel staff, in general, has grown even more complicated. With that
level of no money coming in, hotels are unable to operate for months or even weeks.
In short, a government's primary problem during a crisis such as a pandemic is
decreasing both sorts of doubt. For companies that are sensitive to such confusion,
such as accommodation operations, this is important. To enhance stability,
authorities could be well advised to enforce procedures that provide detailed clarity
about their long-term plans.
Management and operations in the hospitality industry are complicated, with many
interconnected elements and relationships. It’s not easy to run a profitable hotel.
Time management, context switching, and issue resolution are all skills that hotel
managers must possess. Operating a hotel involves not only a great deal of planning
but also a considerable deal of strategy. It’s not enough to just schedule everyone
and hope that nothing goes wrong. Rather, it must create techniques that improve
operations over time and allow employees to be more productive and happier at
work.
