Description of the Business

A. Mission and Vision Statement

Mission
Comfee Escafe aims to provide high-quality coffee that can give them a
comfortable feeling and a temporary escape. We strive to provide experiences with the
highest-quality product, the friendliest staff, and best values.
Vision
To be known in the country as a unique and most trusted coffee shop that
provides a service with comfortable surroundings and escape feeling to customers.

B. Information about the Product

Comffee Escafe is committed to make the highest quality caffeine. It takes many hands to
create a delicious cup of coffee – from the farmers who tend to the coffee beans, to the roasters
who makes the best from every bean, and to the barista who serves it with care. Comfee Escaafe
offer a choice of regular and decaffeinated coffee beverages, a broad selection of Italian-style
espresso beverages, cold blended beverages, iced shaken refreshment beverages and a selection
of teas and distinctively packaged roasted whole bean coffees.

Comffee Escafe offers different types of coffee that has a flavor, sweetness,
bitterness, aftertaste, has a strong and pleasant aroma. The coffee that they offer is a potent
source of healthful antioxidant, a coffee that is not just a drink but culture. Comfee Escafe
purchases high quality coffee beans from coffee-producing regions around the Philippines to
support our local farmers.

Their coffee can boost our physical performance, can help us to lose weight, can
brightens our mood, can help us to burn fat, can protect brains, can reduces risk of cancers and
stroke and can lowers risk of death. Comfee Escafe offers an affordable simple pleasure, offers a
magical brown liquid, ground from beans and necessary for human life.

C. Size of the Business

Comfee Escafe is a Micro type Business since the company only consists of not more
than 25 employees. This cafe size has 2,500 sq. feet of space and can hold a capacity of over 100
people at one time when you combine the interior and exterior seating areas. Once inside the
store, the customer and employees have enough space to move around comfortably and there is
also enough proximity of space between tables and customers.

D. Location of the Business

The Comfee Escafe is located at 145 Narra St., Mountview Subdivision, Tanauan City,
Batangas, near the DMMCIHS School.

The location was picked by the business owners since it is close to the school, and many
students and teachers may become customers because they can study and eat snacks at the same
time. When it's time for a break, this is a great area to hang out with friends. Coffee shops serve
as more than just social spots to get coffee, also functioning as study places for so many students.
Students are a perfect target for this kind of business, whether they outweigh the local population
or make up a small percentage of it. The business owners established this café in response to the
specific demands of our target market. Students make for excellent customers since they must
attend schools on a regular basis and so eat on a regular basis.

social media/Website Manager. They manage social media connections with other businesses, as
well as generate and/or post shareable videos and photos, and they monitor, moderate, and reply
to audience comments.

F. Design or Physical Feature of the Product

The features of Comfee Escafe coffees are varying from light golden brown all the way
to dark, almost black appearance. The components of coffees consist of several biological active
compounds, such as caffeine, diterpenes, chlorogenic acids, and melanoidins, which may affect
human health. The intake of each compound depends on the variety of coffee species, roasting
degree, type of brewing method and serving size. Coffee is a popular beverage that researchers
have studied extensively for its many health benefits, including its ability to increase energy
levels, promote weight management, enhance athletic performance, and protect against chronic
disease.

Comfee Escafe coffees have various of flavors: espresso, cappuccino, latte, frappe,
Americano, smoothies, regular coffees and many more choices. Each flavor has its own
distinction to color of cups according to its sweetness or strong taste. Since the store has a pastel,
nostalgic, and aesthetic theme that brings coziness and satisfaction to eyes, the product, coffee
that may vary in flavor would of course vary in physical feature and would depend on the style
of preparation. The products and its description are as follows:

Black

- Black coffee is as simple as it gets with ground coffee beans steeped in hot water, served
warm. And if you want to sound fancy, you can call black coffee by its proper name: cafe noir.
Since it isn’t doctored up with milk or sugar, the quality of coffee is especially important.

Latte

- As the most popular coffee drink out there, the latte is comprised of a shot of espresso
and steamed milk with just a touch of foam. It can be ordered plain or with a flavor shot of
anything from vanilla to pumpkin spice.

Cappuccino

- Cappuccino is a latte made with more foam than steamed milk, often with a sprinkle of
cocoa powder or cinnamon on top. Sometimes you can find variations that use cream instead of
milk or ones that throw in flavor shot, as well.

Americano

- With a similar flavor to black coffee, the americano consists of an espresso shot diluted in
hot water.
Espresso

- An espresso shot can be served solo or used as the foundation of most coffee drinks, like
lattes and macchiatos.

Doppio

- A double shot of espresso, the doppio is perfect for putting extra pep in step.

Cortado

- Like yin and yang, a cortado is the perfect balance of espresso and warm steamed milk.
The milk is used to cut back on the espresso’s acidity.

Red Eye

- Named after those pesky midnight flights, a red eye can cure any tiresome morning. A
full cup of hot coffee with an espresso shot mixed in, this will definitely get your heart racing.

Galão

- Originating in Portugal, this hot coffee drink is closely related to the latte and
cappuccino. Only difference is it contains about twice as much foamed milk, making it a lighter
drink compared to the other two.

Lungo

- A lungo is a long-pull espresso. The longer the pull, the more caffeine there is and the
more ounces you can enjoy.

Macchiato

- The macchiato is another espresso-based drink that has a small amount of foam on top.
It’s the happy medium between a cappuccino and a doppio.

Mocha

- For all you chocolate lovers out there, you’ll fall in love with a mocha. The mocha is a
chocolate espresso drink with steamed milk and foam.
Ristretto

- Ristretto is an espresso shot. It uses less hot water which creates a sweeter flavor
compared to the bitter taste of a traditional shot of espresso or a doppio.

Flat White

- This Aussie-born drink is basically a cappuccino without the foam or chocolate sprinkle.
It’s an espresso drink with steamed milk.

Affogato

- The affogato is an excuse to enjoy a scoop of ice cream any time of day. Served with a
scoop of ice cream and a shot of espresso, or two. The affogato is extra delish served over a
brownie.

Café au Lait

- Café au lait is perfect for the coffee minimalist who wants a bit more flavor, added with a
splash of warm milk to the coffee.

Irish

- Irish coffee consists of black coffee, whiskey and sugar, topped with whipped cream.
G. Packaging

For take-out

For those who are always in a hurry, the coffee shop Comfee Escafe provides coffee cups
take out holders made of durable cardboard so that it is not difficult for the shoppers to bring the
coffee/s.

Paper Cups

The packaging that they come up with is a disposable cup that made out of paper or
polystyrene foam, the lid is made up of plastic and the coffee shop also provide a coffee sleeve to
insulate the drinker's hands from hot coffee. Paper cups are often used in coffee shops to provide
beverages to customers on the go. The cups that they used are eco-friendly because when they
are placed into a decaying biodegradable material, it turned into a nutrient-rich material. It
decomposes and decays at the same rate as paper without releasing harmful toxins, making them
eco-friendly.

Tumblers

Comfee Escafe also has a coffee tumbler that is made up of stainless steel, a double-
walled tumbler that insulate both hot and cold drinks/beverages. If you look at their tumbler the
inside is stainless steel but the outside looks rubber and the lid is also a rubber. This kind of
tumbler is very useful especially to those people who love or addicted to coffee because they can
just refill the tumbler, by that they can save money. You can purchase this type of tumbler in our
store if you only want to have it. It stays in its temperature for 6hours.
