CHRISTMAS NOT X'MAS (Don't Miss The Christ

Of Christmas) Luke 2:1-7

John 10:10! 
Without Christmas there is no everlasting life, salvation. Therefore if you miss Christ of Christmas you
will just left with "mas" (miss almighty's substance). We Christian never imitate the world. Huwag
nating gayahin ang sanlibutan. We are Christian... followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are
celebrating Christmas because this is our identity. Do not forget that Christmas is because of God. If
the people greets you "happy holidays" "Merry Xmas" Sila iyon e... Identity nila iyon, ikaw tumayo ka
sa identity mo, grineet ka ng happy holidays huwag mo silang gayahin stand with your identity. Let
Christ be known.

How do you value God? Neng kayi uling magmadali ka mag greet ka "Merry Xmas" ay? Ali nawa
makanita. When you value God even in saying God's name you'll give value. (Ccapitalize ang
pangalan ng Lord) ... Luke 2:7 The first people who miss the Christmas was those who owns the inn. 
The Inn Keeper 
If this inn keeper just know Christ I am very sure maghahanda siya ng room para sa Dios. King
Agustus sinabi niya na mag register yung mga tao doon. Kaya naman maraming tao, and because of
that Jesus got no place anymore. A. CROWD neng kayi we are so focus on the people, "katapad,
bakit eke meg church?" Dakal kami bisita... Do not let the crowd be the center of Christmas. Kahit
mahalaga pang tao 'yan para sayo, do not let them hinder it. Kaarawan ng Lord hindi mo o kung
nino man. ... Remember Zacheous? A short man in the bible that was hinder by the crowd
because of the large crowd, but he didn't let the crowd hinders him, he left the crowd and look for a
way to encounter the Lord. And God was so good... "I (must) come to your house" B. Business Doon
sa inn (kapag may check-in may cheke..) Do not miss Christ because of money and wealth.
Nakakalungkot para sa iba malungkot Sila because there is no money... Church I want to remind you
LUKE 2:10. Hindi ang pera ang nagbibigay ng joy, hindi ang peso kundi ang Kristo. Matthew 16:26.
The earth can not give us what we needed. 
II. The King Herod 
Matthew 2:2. When Herod heard the wise men na disturbed siya... Nagalit siya. Like Herod we often
don't want to have another king to rule, govern over us. We want to be the king always in our life. For
some "okay lang naman na may Kristo ngunit hindi siya ang magiging hari ko." Herod doesn't want
another king. "Ang dangerous daw na word ay ang "ako") kapag puro nalang ako delikado... Herod
regected the Lord. We will miss the Christmas if we let the Lord not to interefere in our life. The one
purpose of Christmas is "a king to be born" at kapag itong hari na ito hindi natin tinananggap, hindi
totoo ang pasko sa atin. Hindi ka maaring maging hari, hindi ka mabuting hari... Kailangan natin ng
Hari, it must be the Lord. (Lord dyan ka lang sa corner ng buhay ko, anong araw? Tuwing sunday
lang...) Nako babagsak ka panigurado dahil kailangan siya ang Panginoon sa buong linggo ng buhay
mo. Be like the wise man, be with Christ. Because Herod do not want to accept the Lord, disaster
comes. There were great weeping, batang 2 years old pababa ay namatay. It is only rhe the Lord who
gives peace and orderliness. Ang totoong nagdadala ng tagumpay ay ang Dios kaya kung wala siya
sa iyo, hindi totoong matagumpay ka. Do not celebrate yourself. Remember that because you are
with the Lord you will always see victory. 
III The Religious People 
Matthew 2:4 they know the word but didn't welcome Jesus they even coted the word of God. Mica
5:2/3 they were educated people, this are the ones who comes on the church, who knows the truth,
but didn't do anything. Sadly, there are people who read the bible, who goes to church, but regected
the Lord. Sometimes it is better to just know a few but have Christ, but knows a lot but are far from
God. "The scripture is not only for information but transformation." Ang tanong ngayon hindi nalang
nagbabasa ka ba ng bibliya, kundi na-aaply mo ba ang iyong mga narinig, nabasa, at nalalaman? ...
Sinabi nila, they quoa the word. Even the enemy knows the whole bible, don't get me wrong... ang
pagkaalam sa salita ng Dios ay hindi masama... The point is it is important to apply. Let us
celebrate Christmas by application of the word. For this what please God. Do you celebrate Christmas
or Xmas? I hope and pray that it will Christmas and not xmas.
