C. Motivation
You want to buy arros caldo at the canteen. What will you need to buy it? Is
money important to us? Why?
D. Presentation
Show different kinds of coins to the children and let them recognize each one.
E. Discussion
Using the real coins introduce the value of each coin to the children, etc.
F. Application
The teacher show the coins to the children. The children tell the value of each coin.
G. Generalization
What symbol do we use in coins? What do we mean by C? P? We use C for
5c,10c,25c and P for P1, P5, P10 and P20.
