The NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM (NSTP) is a law otherwise known as

Republic Act. 9163 or the NSTP Act of 2001,refers to the program aimed at enhancing civil
consciousness and defence preparedness in the youth by developing theirs ethics of service and
patriotism while undergoing training in any of the three (3) program components. The civil
Welfare Training Service (CWTS),the Literacy Training Service 9LTS0 and the Reserve
Officers Training Corp (ROTC). Especially designed to enhance the youth’s active implemented
effective school year 2002 -2003 in HEI’s.
The National Service Training Program, also referred to by the acronym NSTP, is a civic
administration and defence preparedness program for Filipino tertiary education students
instituted by the government of the Philippines on January 2002 by virtue of Republic Act 9163,
otherwise known as the “National Service Training Program (NSTP) Act of 2001.
Coverage
Under the NSTP Program both male and female college students of any baccalaureate degree
course or technical vocational course in public or private educational institutions are obliged to
undergo one of three program components for an academic period of two semesters. The
students, however, are free to choose which particular program component to take. The three
NSTP program components are:
ROTC- RESERVE OFFICERS TRAINING CORPS
This program components is designed to provide military educational and training for students to
mobilize them for national defence preparedness.
LTS-LITERACY TRAINING SERVICE
This program components is designed to train students in literacy and numeracy skills to school
children and out of school youths.
CWTS-CIVIL WELFARE TRAINING SERVICE
This program components is designed to provide students with activities contributory to the
general welfare and betterment of life of the members of the community especially those develop
to improve social welfare service graduate of the ROTC program components are organize into
the Citizen Armed Force, while graduates of the LTS and CWTS program components are
organize into the National Service Reserve Corps Administered by the Department of National
Defence, the Commission Of Higher Education and skills Development Authority.

The FCU-NSTP envisions an efficient, civic conscious and highly motivated NSTP committed
towards social transformation.

MISSION
The FCU-NSTP ensures the efficient implementation of NSTP components for the enhancement
and defence preparedness among the Filipino youth.

GOALS
Develop civic consciousness and national defence preparedness among the Filipino Youth
particularly those that enhance their total well-being as agents towards the pursuit of national
development.

Saturday September 3,2022 We went to highschool for our NSTP difficulty sporting our personal
cleansing materials. We waited on the college grounds aligned with the aid of using sections till
our Teacher assigned us to exceptional cleansing areas, 20 male college students of BSHM 1
ECHO branch turned into assigned in the back of the Senior High constructing consolation room
to shovel up dust and bury the rubbish on the back.
Then unexpectedly our instructor instructions us once more to hold dust then simple up the un
even ground, while this is end our instructor stated this is time to forestall and take a break and
additionally stated that we are able to hold on the following Saturday.
After me and my classmates went to the canteen and take a destroy and chatted for a bit, while
we had been end taking a destroy our instructor known as us to visit the 4rth ground of the
college building to have our orientation, we elected officers and distributed our Modules in our
NSTP subject

On Saturday, September 10, 2022, I got up at seven in the morning and headed to school. After
that, we went to the third floor of the college building to wait for an assembly outside on the
school grounds.We were given a room in the high school’s building to stay in.We cleaned the
bad food from the building and put our names on the attendance list.We take a break once
everyone has left, but then our teacher calls us to go outside.The garden and divide us into
groups of ten to tidy up each garden area.After that, we purchased snacks and went to the
canteen to wash our hands. Once we had finished eating our snacks, we went to the fourth floor
to line up, where our teacher announced.

September 17, 2022 (Sat) Wake up at 7 am and go to school. Before going to school, I take a
thermometer, grab a chair, and go to the 4th floor of the university building to find my NSTP
teammate.Then wait for ATTY. CLARISSA C. FAVOR and we Enter our name on the
Attendance Sheet and then her ATTY. CLARISSA came and the announcer introduced her to all
the students. She discussed sexual harassment law RA-7877 and after the discussion the students
held a session on sexual harassment and asked a questions to What are these events?
For ATTY. CLARISSA closed the discussion and the NSTP instructors and first year officers
presented her with her certificate. Afterwards, Sir Yunik Mapattak urged the students to pay her
25 pesos as donations and her 300 pesos for NSTP T-shirts. After paying 25 pesos, we took the
chairs and put them to our classroom.

I went to school on Saturday 24th September 2022 at 7am.At 30.30 in the morning we went to
his third floor of the university building and the teachers told us to line up in court.We then lined
up as a team and the instructor told us to write our names on the attendance sheet and we were
told to pay 25 pesos.After cleaning the yard, I went to the back of the cafeteria to wash my
hands.After washing my hands, I bought some snacks in the cafeteria and waited in the hallway
when the instructor told me to line up on the court again.NSTP Announced instructors who have
not yet paid for their NSTP t-shirts because their t-shirts are due today.

On Saturday, October 1, 2022, I woke up at 7:00 am to go to school and while I was waiting in
the classroom, I was called to line up and put my name on the attendance sheet.After confirming
our attendance, the instructor ordered us to go to our garden and I took a picture with my
friend.30 The teacher lets us rest and we go to the cafeteria to buy some snacks.After finishing
our snacks, the instructor ordered us back to the garden to plant the plants, then waited for the
announcement of participation after announcing that he was going home.

On Saturday, October 8, 2022, I woke up at 7:00 am to go to school. I was summoned to court

and asked to line up. Once Section Echo was completed, the instructor checked attendance.After
checking attendance, the instructor ordered me to mow the volleyball court.After weeding, I
went to the cafeteria and ate a snack. After I finished eating the snack, I rested for a while, went
to the garden, planted and watered the cold that I had brought, and went home.

Saturday October 22,2022 I woke up at 7 o’clock and I went to the school, when we entered the
school, we were lined up in the court by section because they would charge us 30 pesos for the
fence and we listed our names in our attendance.

After we finished our attendance, we were sent to the volleyball court to pull grass while we
were pulling grass, then our instructor to collect the grass we pulled out and he also asked who
had a lighter because they gonna burn the grass.

After they finished burning the grass we went to the canteen to have a snack and after we finish
our snack our instructor sent us to the garden to clean the area around the garden, and we moved
our plants at the back of college building to get some sunlight and to prevent them from wilting,
after that we waited for the instruction of our instructor if we could sign the attendance to time
out, we waited for a few minutes and our instructor told us to sign and we went home safely.

On Saturday, November 5, 2022, I woke up at 7:00 am to go to school.After checking

attendance, the instructor ordered us to cut the grass in front of the new building, and the
instructor ordered my classmate to pick up the garden rake. After taking a break, we went to the
cafeteria for a snack.
When we finished eating our snacks, we checked the garden to see if it was okay, and the
instructor called us to line up in front of the new building and split the line. After distributing T-
shirts, we went to the gate and waited for the guard to open the gate and leave.

On Saturday, November 12, 2022, I woke up at 7:00 am to go to school and my friend and I went
to the cafeteria for breakfast.After confirming attendance, the instructor told us to get in line. We
were sent to the front of the school, where we pulled weeds. While we were pulling weeds, the
instructor told us to collect the plucked weeds and put them in a bag. We threw it away and went
to our room to rest. After resting, we sadly went to the garden. The plants withered and nothing
was left. My group members and I met to do this. Only plant in our own homes to ensure the
plants survive. After this After the meeting was over, we signed a time-out in front of us.I went
home with my ID.

Saturday, November 19, 2022 I woke up at 7 am and went to school. The instructor lined us up
in the ground floor hallway and wrote our names down on an attendance sheet while the
instructor showed us where to clean.When we finished attending, the instructor told us to clean
up.
After cleaning the building on the second floor of the elementary and high school, I go to the
garden with my friends to clean it. After that, I go to the classroom for a break. After resting, I
went to the cafeteria and bought some snacks. After we finished eating, the other instructor took
us outside the sentry box to pull weeds. After growing some grass, Wash your hands, sign a
timeout in front of us and wait for it while going home afterwards.

On Saturday, November 26, 2022, I woke up at 7:00 am to go to school, when I arrived at

school, I went to the cafeteria to buy water, and after I finished buying water, the teacher called
all the first grade departments to ask for water. Fulfilled. I listed the names of the gates and
attendees.
After naming the attendees, the instructor sent us to the side volleyball court and told us to pull
grass, so we went under the tree to rest for a while, after a break, pulled grass again, and ended
up on the volleyball court. After that, we were sent near the basketball court and started pulling
weeds there. After we finished, our instructor told us to pick up the weeds we had pulled and
collect everything.
After finishing the teacher’s story, I went to the cafeteria and bought some snacks. After we
finished buying our food we went upstairs and ate there. After finishing our meal, we went to
the garden area to start our meeting.

On Saturday, December 3, 2022, I got up at 7:00 am and went to school when I got to school. I
went to our room because my classmates were there, I called the our instructor called us and they
and they say form a line by team. While waiting in line at the basketball court, we had already
written our names on the attendance sheet.

After writing our names on the attendance sheet, the instructor showed us where to clean each
section, and we were assigned to clean the second floor of the new building.

I went to the canteen to buy some snacks, then went to the table to eat them, then rested there
after eating. When we got to the garden, the group started a meeting and talked about the plants
in the house. One of my group mates also said that his plants are already bearing fruit.

On Saturday, December 10, 2022, I got up at 7:00 am and I go to the school and waited for the
Instructor to arrive. He ordered us to form a line at the basketball
court and then took attendance. Then he informed us what we should do. We went to the yard of
the school.
We cleaned the premise of school as we walk around and pull out the grasses. Then I used the
remaining time to join my classmates for a zumba practice for Physical Education. After that, I
informed the teacher that we might now leave.

This is the last day of our “National Service Training Program” December 17,2022 and I
woke up in the morning to attend our last orientation about Bill of rights and exact 9:00 am in the
Morning Mrs, Patricia Anne Mandap Mercado arrive to the fourth floor and she discuss the 22
sections of Bill of rights in the 1987 Republic constitution section I to XII It states that no ones life
liberty or property can be taken without due process this means that anyone who risk being stripped
of these protections must go through the proper process that includes giving him a chance to defend
himself every citizen also has to night against any search or groping without a search warrant

Every creature in the word has rights.including humans. A person has protected rights are affirmed
ang protected by the bill of rights
