Dear Rudy!
Are you OK? How is your mom? I hope Auntie Anna is OK too.
My interview was with Nick Kane, the Director, but as I walked through the
door, guess who I saw? Tim Buckle, an old friend. His wife, Gina Firth, knows my
sister. We had a chat and then I went to Mr Kane’s office.
I felt nervous before I walked into the room. I only had three hours sleep on
Monday night but he was so pleasant my worries disappeared immediately and I
felt comfortable.
And... I got the job! The money is the same as I earn now but I get the chance
to see the world. I’m going to Tim’s house for dinner tonight. He’s still the same…
tall and thin but now his hair is very short. We have lots to talk about. He and Gina
have got three boys and a girl, four kids, and we’ve got our new baby!
See you.
