Introduction and goals section: Ideas for the introduction include Introducing yourself

and your goals for the year (discuss each goal and why you have them), discussing
your future plans (college? career? military?), and describing your personal
characteristics. Tell us a little about yourself!

Strengths and Weaknesses: Fully discuss your strengths and weaknesses by pointing
out at least two things in EACH area that you could work on. These should be
academic and related to the class you are reflecting upon.

Grades: What do you need to do to improve? Describe your plan to improve your
grades and identify at least three action steps that you plan to take to improve the grade
in the class (or to MAINTAIN your grade).

Reading at home: What book(s)? And how much have you read? What can you do to
improve your Lexile score? Describe your plan to improve the Lexile score. Would you
discuss which books you plan to read and/or how you plan to make time in your day to
read

Homework/Studying: Are you doing it? If so, how much? Discuss your plan to make
sure you are doing your homework and that you study. Will you keep up with important
dates in your agenda calendars? Will you set reminders on your phone?

Teacher, Learner, Leader: How much are you learning? Are you leading? Teaching?
Think about ways that you are learning from others and WHAT you are learning (maybe
even life lessons). Think about ways that you are leading others in your class. How are
you teaching others? You can talk about these three areas in terms of school OR you
could discuss them in terms of what you do OUTSIDE of school. Are you doing anything
in the community? in church? in sports?

Conclusion: Thoughtful Conclusion. Explain how your Capstone will reflect (or does
reflect) your skills and knowledge of the content area.
