 Acknowledgement

The following report is the documentation of the work done by me during

the 8th semester, starting from 17th January 2022 till 7th June 2022. I
express my most sincere gratitude to the firm, Portal 92 for giving me the
opportunity to be a part of the team and involving me in the process of
designing and executing a variety of projects.
I am extremely grateful to my mentors for guiding me and for giving me
this opportunity that challenged me to stretch and grow.
I also extend my gratitude to the rest of the staff of Portal 92, each one of
those guiding hands molded me, helped tune my skills and critiqued my
works.

The team at Portal 92 desires to create works to defy stylistic

categorization, focused on creative solutions and innovations centered
around Architecture Design, Landscape Design and Interior Design.
Founded by Sagar Goyal and Aanchal Sawhney, The studio combines
architectural research, practice and artistic expression to provide
bespoke holistic/design Solutions. Prior to establishing the firm, both
partners acquired experience while working with some of the top
architects and designers in India.
The team aims to continue exploring and revolutionizing the depth of
experience that architectural design can create. Portal 92 thrives on
jumping scales from our surrounding macro environs to the microcosms of
live : object interaction. The Practice revolves around experimenting with
the spatial design, emotional expression, details and materials, While
working closely on executing the designs, throughout India.

Learnings
As an intern I was given the responsibility of providing the contractor on site
and the furniture vendors with detailed drawings for the above mentioned
projects. The same drawings were to be explained and executed on site as well
as during the making of furniture.
My graphic making skills were put to test when I was asked to make the
graphical illustrations for a couple of finished projects, to be able to publish on
various architectural magazines and the social media pages of the firm.
The process of making the drawings and getting them executed on site
helped me stretch my drawing making and communication through drawing
abilities.
