Member (Information Technology): -

Member (Information Technology) is responsible for providing efficient and effective

leadership support in the areas of Information Technology.

Job Description: -
• Spearhead and oversee the portfolio of Information Technology (IT) projects under CPEC
• Monitor the implementation of IT projects under CPEC and submit periodic reports to
Chairperson CPEC Authority
• Identify issues hampering progress of CPEC IT projects and make efforts in conjunction
with relevant government authorities for their resolution
• Oversee CPEC Authority’s liaison with all Federal & Provincial Stakeholders in the
areas of IT
• Identify potential new IT, information science and telecommunication projects for
inclusion in CPEC and Identify potential investors in China and reach out to them for
bringing investment
• Liaise with and provide inputs to Ministry of Information Technology and
Telecommunication and other government entities on matters related to IT projects of
CPEC
• Assess, support and suggest measures for advancement of Information Technology and
Telecommunications
• Establish and maintain linkages with Chinese counterparts in the IT domain
• Any other assignment given from time to time by the Chairperson
