ACTIVITY 10.

According to Ma’am Greta, Outcome-based teaching and learning (OBTL) is concerned with
curriculum design and making sure that the materials, methods of instruction, activities, and
evaluations are all coordinated to support students in achieving specific learning objectives.

According to Ma’am Hayzel, In comparison to traditional education, OBTL is more rational,


effective, and gratifying for both teachers and students. The fact that the ILOs clearly outline not
only what students are supposed to be learning, but also how and to what standard, is beneficial
to students—possibly even more so than it is to teachers.
