AN OVERVIEW

LESSON 1: THE SCIENCE FRAMEWORK IN THE K TO 12

ENGAGE

This is the first phase of your module you engage yourself with activity about science

framework in the K to 12. So, I want you to focus so that you can answer the given questions

below.

1. What do you expect to teach in science?

My goal in teaching science is to give students the knowledge and direction they ought to discover and
understanding scientific ideas.
2. What first come to your mind when you are to teach Science?
When I am about to teach science, the first thing that comes to me is all about experiments, learning, and how
things function.

3. In K to 12 enhanced curricula, what is the national framework Science in all levels?

The National Science Foundation's mission is to ensure that by the end of 12th grade, all students have some
appreciation of the beauty and wonder of science. Students must possess sufficient knowledge of science and
engineering to engage in public discussions on related issues. They must be careful consumers of scientific
and technological information related to their everyday lives.

As a future educator, I hope to inspire my students to participate in scientific research by serving as a
good role model, strengthening the people's opinion of science, integrating science to everyday life, and
providing them with possibilities to explore.

lack of emphasis on instructional strategies in most materials, this option is not simple to execute
but is still the best one at this moment.

10. Do you like to teach learners elementary science?

hope to motivate students to come up using their own fresh concepts and maybe even invent technological
advances in the future. I wish to increase understanding between those young kids about how to protect
resources for future generations through using science to describe how and why the planet works and how
to utilize resources.
