1. What is a peer-to-peer network and its features?

Peer-to-peer network is where two or more computers are connected together without needing a file
server to be part of the network
2. Why do we need to setup a network?
It is very simple and there is no need for a special network operating system. Access to data can
be controlled by setting the sharing permissions on individual machines.

1. What is a client-server network and its features?

In a client server network, the files will be stored on a specialized computer called a server.
It ensures security and almost all data is stored in a central location.
2. Why do we need to setup a network?
So that you can more strictly control each user, network security is controlled centrally and all files
are stored in a central location. This method is also more efficient.

Guide Question:
1. What are the differences of peer-to-peer and client-server network?
 There are many differences between peer-to-peer and client-server networks but the
important ones are that in client-server files are stored in a central location while
peer-to-peer each pc has its data. Client servers are more stable than peer-to-peer
networks. Lastly, a client-server cost more time and resources to set up and
maintain on the other hand peer-to-peer server is easier to set up since it does not
require specialist knowledge.

2.) What do you think is the importance of peer-to-peer network and client-server network?
 They both allow each other to make resources available to other computers. Their
importance depends on the situation, when at home, a peer-to-peer network is
usually used since it is affordable and there are only a few users, while when
working in an office with more than ten people a client-server network should be
used for it provides better security and efficiency.
