"Consider this” #41
(Boyle's law; equation is, P1 X V1 = P2 X V2)
When temperature and amount remain the same, the mathematical relationship which exists is that pressure has an
inversely proportional relation to volume. This is due to the fact that pressure changes as volume rises or falls, For
instance, when the volume is reduced, the number of molecules present does not change, but because there is less
space, there will be more of the molecules contacting the container, increasing the pressure.
White an average, also known as a mean, measures central tendency, meaning it reflects a typical value in a particular
set, standard deviation reveals how widely distributed the values are in a specific dataset. The average value provides
us with the mean, or the general point the numbers coincide around, whereas standard deviation is utilized to describe
the variation in numbers in".

“Consider this" #3:
‘When the volume is doubled, for instance from 5.0 mL to 10.0 mL, my data shows that the pressure drops by about
half (or by a factor of 2). This is due to the fact that when volume increases, molecules stay the same but have more
‘space to move about, which results in fewer collisions and less force being applied to the container.
“Consider this” #4
According to my statistics, if the volume is reduced from 20.0 mL to 10.0 mL, the pressure will rise by half (or by a
factor of 2). This is due to the volume dropping, which causes the space to compress. Since the molecules don't
change, more force will be applied on the container (much more collision)
"Consider this” #5:
My analysis indicates that if the volume is tripled from 5.0 mL. to 18.0 mL, the pressure will drop by a third ( or by a
factor of 3). This is similar to question #3 in that itis obvious that the pressure decreases in direct proportion to the
volume that is added. The amount of pressure applied reduces as space expands.

A linear graph is important since it reveals how variables interact with one another. It also refers to Newton's First Law
of Motion, which states that unless acted upon by a force, an object at rest remains at rest and an object in motion
continues to move at a constant speed (which is seen in the graph as the line is constantly moving at the same speed
ina straight line)

"Consider this" #7:
When testing Boyle's law, the temperature and gas mass are the two variables that are kept constant. Boyle's law, @
gas law, describes how a gas tend to compress more as its container’s volume reduces.

‘Make notes concerning changes made to the original instructions, mistakes, and potential/real errors. These need not
be in complete sentences, but should be neat and make sense to anyone who reads them.

Conclusion:
Briefly summarize the overall results/conclusions from each section of this experiment,
The goal of this experiment is to identify the distinct influences of a gas's temperature (T), volume (V), and mass (m) on
the gas's pressure (P). The Ideal Gas Law is a single mathematical formula that expresses the combined influence of
various variables on the pressure of the gas. In the first section, we looked at how the pressure would change as the
volume altered. The pressure dropped as the volume rose (Ex. From 5.0mL. to 10mL, the pressure went down by a
factor of 2 as it went from 1600 to 800). It was comparable to the experiment where temperature change affected
pressure, We performed experiments to see how hot and cold temperatures impact gas pressure, When the
temperature rises, the gas particles in a container move more rapidly. Ths indicates that there are more contacts
between them and the container's surfaces, increasing the pressure. Cold temperatures works the opposite way.
Overall, through this experiment we were able to understand the affects Temperature and Volume (along with mass),
had on Pressure.
