ENGAGEMENT OF RESOURCES FOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

Webel Technology Ltd (WTL) is an ISO 9001:2008, ISO 27001:2013 and CMMI Level 5 Certified
Govt. of West Bengal Undertaking under the Administrative Control of Department of Personnel
& Administrative Reforms Department. WTL incorporated in 2001 with its primary areas of
expertise include IT consultancy, e-Governance project conceptualization and implementation,
capacity building in the IT area, provision of customized IT solutions spanning hardware as well
as software projects, GIS development and multimedia development.

WTL is the State Designated Agency (SDA)/State Implementing Authority (SIA) of Government
of West Bengal for implementation of all e-Governance Projects as well as projects under
National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) including i.e. State Data Centre (SDC), State Wide Area
Network (SWAN) and all other Mission Mode Projects (MMPs).

The key objective of e-Governance is to enable West Bengal to transform into a knowledge-
driven welfare society with extensive use of IT and ITeS in Governance and in the daily lives of
the people of the State. The Government is committed to build a citizen-centric, inclusive and
information-driven welfare Society to make the public services available to all sections of the
State in a transparent and efficient manner through e-Governance with use of Information and
Communication Technology (ICT). In this direction, the Government has taken up extensive e-
Governance projects and schemes in tune with the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) as well
as State-specific initiatives.

Since the last few years there has been a stupendous growth in terms of revenue and profit
having registered turnover of Rs 300+Crore and surging ahead for continued growth in the
coming years.
As required by various departments of Government of West Bengal, WTL is going to engage
competent & experienced Developers in MMPCT-WB and e-Governance in PT projects as per the
details given below:

Position : Software Developer - 10 nos.

Minimum Qualification- 1st Class MCA or 1st Class M.Sc in IT/Computer Science or 1st Class
BE in IT/Computer Science or 1st Class B.Tech in IT/Computer Science.

Work Area :
Software design, development, testing, Data Analysis, documentation and implementation.

Desirable Skill Set :

(i) Java(J2EE)-Struts (1.0 & 2.0), Hibernate, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Swing and Jasper
Report, Secure API design, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, Bootstrap, Angular JS, Jquery,
Ajax etc

(ii) Knowledge with database like Oracle-11g (Forms, SQL, PL/SQL query). PostgreSQL,
MongoDB.

(iii) Data Analysis using free Tools

(iv) PHP Using MVC/HMVC framework with any framework like Laravel, CodeIgniter,
CakePHP.

(v) Knowledge of secured coding by following OWASP Top-10 (2017)-threats and

mitigation.

(vi) Bigdata handling, Hadoop, Mobile App Developments etc.

Location: Kolkata

The above positions are purely on “contractual basis” for a period of 1 (one) year and
renewable on year to year basis based on satisfactory performance. Compensation will be as
per Industry Norms. Engagement will be done through 3rd party roll.
