1 to 4 is pre-treatment

1. Feed water pump should be made in USA for flow of 35T/H. Discharge pressure should be 45-60
psi. Feed water pump is of 24 m3/hr. at 50 psi, Made is Grundfos, Denmark
2. MMF: Multimedia tank should be MS, dia 70 inch, height 95 inch. Filling should be 06 graded
gravels, pebbles and silica sand. Vessel should be top entrance and bottom out. Front face
piping should be Schedule 80, Hydroseal Canada or ERA KSA. Top bottom flange built in. similar
to tank and pipes of softner. As per our Technical Proposal, MMF vessel is in FRP of size 48” by
72”, filling media is three graded gravel, Sand and Anthracite.
3. Micron filteration bag unit. Material should be SS316 for compatibility of 5000ppm in-feed TDS.
Housing should have capacity of 02 bags for material of PPY (poly propylene yarn). SS housing
should have flanged connection. As per our Technical Proposal, The cartridge housing is PVC
made with cartridge filter of 5 micron in PPY/ PPF material which is sufficient enough for existing
water chemistry.
4. Dosing station for operational chemical. There should be 3 dosing pumps with dosing tank: OK
a. First for antiscalant
b. 2nd for biocide
c. 3rd for acidification for recommended pH of 6.8.
d. Dosing pump should be European brand like Injecta Italy, Fluidra Spain or JESCO
Germany. Bill of entries, Certificate of Origin will be demanded. Even COA of chemicals.
e. Dosing pump should be automatically operated
f. Dosing pump should be of PVDF material for acid compatibility
The make of dosing pumps is SEKO, origin is Italy.
5. Micron cartridge filteration: MMF: Tank should be MS, dia 70 inch, height 95 inch. Inside
housing, 40 inch long 12 Nos cartridge for 5 micron filteration. Vessel should be top entrance
and bottom out. Front face piping should be Schedule 80, Hydroseal Canada or ERA KSA. Top
bottom flange built in. Similar to tank and pipes of softner.
Cartridge housing is PVC made 40” long 7 Nos of cartridge for 5 micron.
6. HP (High pressure) pump for RO plant
a. should be 100% SS316 OK
b. Should be 100% made in USA OK
c. Refurbished not acceptable OK
d. Grundfoss Hungary, Easytech USA Grundfos, Denmark
e. IP55 rating YES
f. Vertical multistage YES
g. VFD operated YES
7. High pressure piping from HP pump to RO plant and final reject line; SS316 according to chloride
level and all 316 pipes should be schedule 40 for operating pressure of 16-23 Bar. All SS316
pipes should be imported seamless instead of local die making fabricated. OK
8. FRP RO vessels (fiber reinforced plastic). All vessels should be made in USA, no China acceptable.
Vessels pressure rating should be 450 psi. Vessels operation should be side port connection.
Front port connection not acceptable. Vessel connection coupling size should be 1.5 inch.
Vessels make is FERVID, Origin is China (A-Class), and Operating Pressure is 450 psi, 6 element
long, Side Port 2”
9. RO membranes should USA or Europe brand; Hydranautics, Dupont Filmtec, EZ water
technology. Surface area 400 Sqft. Salt rejection should be 99.999%. RO Plant should have 02
array/stages/banks. RO vessel should have 5 membranes in one vessel. Total number of
membranes: 20 Nos.
RO membrane make is SUEZ water technologies, Origin is USA, 400sqft, 99.3% Salt Rejection,
Total Quantity=18 Nos
10. On-line CIP (cleaning in-place) unit is required. There should be online skid mounting cleaning
and flushing unit. CIP unit should consist of pump, cartridge, polish circulation tank; online
instrumentation, pipes and fittings. Objective: Whenever RO is turned off, automatic flushing
should be conducted by CIP unit. After long shut off, when operation is about to start, dirty
stranded water needs to be cleared. CIP unit will do this job automatically. After 3 months,
detailed cleaning of 6-8 hrs is required to get appropriate life. Automation of CIP allows
automatic operation of above. No cleaning/flushing services required from the Vendors when
CIP is in place.

11. Complete electric panel, cabinet type. MS panel enclosures/equipment should be US/Europe
famous brands like Telemecanique, Schnieder, ABB etc. panel should have PLC of Mitsubishi,
Siemens brand. MCC and PLC compartment should be separate.
MCC Panel is HRA Pakistan all electronic components are from Schneider, NEMA 5 Enclosure, IP

12. Online instrumentation:
a. Flow meter, ROTA USA, pipe mounted. Yes, Inline flow meters will be installed, NO Rota
meter
b. PH and TDS meter, make USA according to raw water and treated water chemistry
parameters. Yes, Inline pH and TDS meter will be in placed
c. Pressure switch should be USA/Europe brand. Agreed
d. Pressure gauges should be Wika Germany or equivalent. Agreed
e. Motorized valve. Should be electric actuator instead of pneumatic. All actuators will be
electric actuated
