Answers :

1 &2 . following the successful completion of masters in _yoga from ___ , I started taking
classes , which more focused on treating disorders or a particular disease. during this time I
started my Phd for further understanding of yoga as a Subject. one of the reasons for choos-
ing back pain as my topic for thesis is because i noticed that majority of patients that I
treated had back pain and to be specific had lower back pain. Not only this but when the
lockdown started I saw prevalence of back pain in my own family and extended family.
With this knowledge a thought stricken me that back pain can be something that might be a
problem in every household or a person can easily develop during his lifespan.

3 . After deciding that I would like to do a research upon this topic , I came to conclusion
that I shouldn’t and couldn’t do a thesis for just having a once that the people around me are
having problems related to back pain hence I should take that as a research topic but I need
structural information and facts and numbers which suggest that back pain as disorder is
something that requires more in depth study. Hence I reviewed several books and research
papers previously written.

4 . carefully going through additional material on back pain , I was much satisfied with the
topic I choose as back pain not only being a vast subject have a large set of perspectives and
also have a very good scope of further studies.

5 & 6. Thereafter I decided to follow up on my research by developing or gathering sam-

ples on which I can see how the effects of Yogasana is on back pain. When I started the pa-
per , that time the whole wolrd was on lockdown and hence I decided on the the sampling
technique as handing out questioners to the respective subjects. This was done by the help of
google forms. The sample size that I decided on was ___(age , number of people , gender).
Most of the subjects were my own patients which already had back pain and was under
treatment, while the remaining were randomly taken.

7 . The purpose I choose questionnaire is because as a tool it helps in gathering data from
a target audience. It will include open ended questions, closed ended questions, or a com-
bination of both. As participants fill out a questionnaire, they're giving valuable titbits of
data. The data collected can be quantitative or qualitative. Questionnaires are very useful to
collect demographic information, personal opinions, facts, or attitudes from respon-
dents,  it allows you to draw broader conclusions about your audience. Altogether hav-
ing questionnaire as my choice of tool was beneficial for not the the circumstances that were
present but also as a tool it is brilliant for analysing and understanding the data.

8 &9. -> say about what you found out

-> talk about charts that you made
-> problems you faced for eg. having no to minimal contact to subjects. How the
sampling technique can be better .

10 . Your conclusion : is yoga a good practice for back pain and treatments. Plus treatments
which you did on your patients and subjects.
