Analysis of secondary data

From the data we collected in part two, we can see that China's second-hand trading market is
growing rapidly, with the market size expanding nearly 82 times in just five years.

With the growth of the market size , the number of users has also multiplied, represented by
young people in first-tier cities, especially school students.

From the above, we can see that there is a market and user base for campus second-hand
trading platforms.

Combining the theories of the two papers above and the current situation of the COVID-19, we
can conclude that a virtual sharing trading platform with knowledge sharing is what is needed
for college campuses with many students nowadays.

Analysis of questionnaire data

We received a total of 102 valid questionnaire data, 51 males and 51 females.

Conclusion

After analyzing the business environment of MUST, the needs of MUST students, we found
market gaps in both the second-hand trading platform and knowledge & experience sharing
channel among students.

According to our secondary data, the second-hand book industry has made a great contribution
to environmental protection,while also made transactions more efficient;We also find
through literature that knowledge sharing helps improve student' academic performance.

Through the primary data obtained from our survey of MUST students, we have learned the
students' insights on second-hand goods trading and knowledge sharing. In general,for
second-hand goods transactions, students are more concerned about the price of the goods
and the convenience of the transaction;And most of them reflect the need for knowledge
sharing channels.

Based on our findings, we decided to create Ezchange.
