INTRODUCTION

Societal Violence is a very dangerous act that could affect the youth at different level and in many
ways. It can also affect the performance and peace of a particular community. Knowing this, the
researchers will conduct a study about the effects of societal violence in youth’s behavior in Cagayan de
Oro City. As the researchers observed, violence is not an easy thing that must be disregarded because it
is something that must be taken care of. According to the Oxford Dictionary, violence is a behavior that
