It is indeed a roller coaster ride in doing a Research Study. There were too many
obstacles resurfaced suffering from emotional, financial and mental problems. What
important thing I have learned is to keep moving, to keep growing. Moreover, whatever
we do in this process, there will always be a contribution to the body of knowledge
meaning that what we are doing is not only for us. I almost given up, and as the second
leader of my team I want to do my best for them, but there are just circumstances that
are inconsiderable and will make thing miserable and unstable. Regardless of what has
been stated, I admit that conducting a research study is beneficial in creating linkages in
order to build relationships with experts and also together with our co-students. We are
able to connect with them, and effectively gather information essential to our study,
information that we know is not researchable in internet as their knowledge is paired up
with experience with real-time agony.

With this realization that research study is process of bridging a gap between
previous and present studies, there are collaboration and construction of strategies on
how essentially provide a solution or an answer to a problem. Just before I question
myself why research study; it is hard, practical and systematic. But in the end of this,
knowing that we can provide an awareness of the talent of some Bikolano Artists and
showcase their artworks is a satisfying and purposeful thing to do. As an aspiring future
artist in the field of music, I really appreciate our study. I was able to witnessed
personally the culture and arts shared by the Bikolano artists we encountered.

I admit I somehow stressed certain factors involve in this process, but with my
hopeful heart I am looking forward on passing our research final defense working
together.
