Dade County Bands

Dear Parent/Guardian,

It is time once again for the annual garbage bag sale! This fundraiser has been occurring with
the Dade County Bands for more than 25 years thanks to the wonderful support of our county!

The garbage bags that we sell are clear bags. The product comes in 3 sizes and all cases are
$30.00 each. Below are the details for each size of bag:

13 gallon bags (tall kitchen) - 250 bags per case.

33 gallon bags - 200 bags per case.
55 gallon bags - 50 bags per case (1.5 mil. Equivalent to contractor bags)

The sale will run from January 10 - January 30. ALL money is due on January 30th by 3:30
p.m. to be included in the final order. Checks should be made out to Dade County Bands.
As with the fruit sale, the students will be given an incentive to help make the program as great
as it can be. A credit of $1 per case will be added to the student account with the band boosters
for students with an account. There will also be a cash prize of $50 for the top sellers, one at
the middle school and one at the high school. All students who sell at at least 10 cases are
invited to a party on February 3rd! The party will be at DCHS from 3:15 - 7:00. Please pick up all
students by 7:00. We will have pizza, and would love donations of cookies, chips, drinks. There
will be an epic nerf gun battle, hide and go seek, video games, and loads of silliness!
