CREATING A DROP CAP STYLE

Although you can open Office Word 2016 files in previous version of Word, you may not be able

to change some items that were created by using the new or enhanced features in Office Word 2016.For

example, equations will become image that cannot be changed. The following is a document element

that are changed when they are opened in a previous version of Word.

Citations and biographies

 Citations and biographies will be converted to static text and will no longer be updated.

Content controls

1. Content controls will be converted to static content.

Embedded objects.

An embedded object in this document was created in Microsoft Office Excel 2016. You won’t be
able to edit the object in earlier versions of word.

1) Right click the embedded object.

2) Point objects to Worksheet Object, and then click convert.
3) In the Convert dialog box, click Convert to.
4) Select Microsoft Office Excel Word.
