The Multimedia & Design Assistant will work in a tandem with the PR & Marketing Assistant, as part of KISC PR & Marketing Department. Their joint work will make up the Centres persona to the outside world and promote the aim of the KISC Association. The Multimedia & Design Assistant will have regular contact with other members of the Long Term Staff Team and it is essential to build up a good working relationship and system of communication with them. Staff The Multimedia & Design Assistant is not responsible for any of the Long or Short Term Staff on a full time basis; however, a considerable amount of collaboration is done with other members of the Staff Team. It is expected that he/she will help out in other areas as requested, especially in the Summer season. Areas of Responsibility: The Multimedia & Design Assistant is expected to: o Work according to and provide inputs for the framework for marketing at Kandersteg International Scout Centre o Operate the Centres PR plan o Establish and maintain PR contacts on local, national and international level within and outside Scouting. Here for he/she will: o o o o o o Review, develop and maintain all the Centres communications, including choice of material, consistency in corporate image, etc. Design all our promotional materials, as well as supporting Shop in finding and creating logos and designs Take the responsibility for videos and art works Organise and attend the KISC representation at events (joint duty with the PR & Marketing Assistant) Support the KISC Supporters Network Supervise Staff working on PR projects.
From all our Staff we expect that they: o o o o o o Ensure a high standard of guest services at all times Deal with any guest enquiries relating to the Centre Care of all Staff employed by the Centre Participate in Long Term Staff training and development Are a member of one of the Internal Improvement Teams Help out there where needed for a successful operation of the Centre.
