than 10% in excess of the strength of the cable.
14. The speed governor is set to cause the application of the safety gear at a speed of not
more than 40% not less than 15% above the contract speed.
15. The loads on overhead beams & their supports & the factor of the safety have been
calculated in accordance with clause 20 (B)
16. The insulation resistance of the electrical parts of all operating devices is capable of
withstanding for a minute a pressure of 2000 volts A.C.
17. Lift Motor is manufactured as per Indian Standards.
