ELECTRICITY 2

Electricity is well known as the flow of electrical power or charge. It has played a

significant role and is now an essential source of energy for the wellbeing of human beings.

Electricity has become an essential part of modern life and is very important to countries'

economies globally- it has contributed significantly to modern inventions and innovations.

Electricity is a secondary source of energy that can be converted to other relevant forms of

energy like heat. To properly understand electricity, it will be essential to analyze how the

Covid-19 contagion impacted electricity usage and the alternative measures for adequate electric

flow. A formal report on the influences of Covid-19 on power and the use of Nano energy will

help give an insight into the way forward.

Electricity has proved to be very important to humans for comfortable living. Electricity

propels a variety of devices used for food preparation and packing. Total electricity end-use

consumption includes retail electricity sales to consumers and direct electricity use. Illumination,

safety schemes, air conditioning, electronic health chronicles, and medical gear need energy for

effective functioning. Besides that, devices like cell phones and laptops require electricity to

function daily. The industrial sector accounts for most of the direct use of electricity. Direct

electricity use is used by the same industrial or commercial sector facility where it is produced.

Additionally, healthcare facilities like hospitals depend on the proper energy supply.

With the above factors, proper management and use of power are required for

comfortable living. Many countries have encouraged the use of renewable sources as sources of

power. Renewable energy sources provide clean energy or energy that releases few greenhouse

fumes or contaminants. For this reason, many strategy experts and researchers advocate

renewable energy sources over traditional fossil fuels. The trouble is achieving the technology,

organization, and political backing to make this evolution. Fossil fuels generate greenhouse

fumes and contaminants. More fossil fuels result in more harmful gases, leading to more

breathing and cardiac wellbeing issues and global warming. It explains why countries in Europe,

with Germany leading, have preferred renewable energy.

Based on a report given by Halbrügge et al., 2021, the Covid-19 plague had a remarkable

effect on the electricity systems of Germany and other European countries. The journal clarifies

that the first wave of the outbreak led to a decrease in energy usage and a cumulative share of

renewable energy sources in several countries (Halbrügge et al., 2021, p. 2). The journal utilized

descriptive statistics to report on the energy utility and sources in Europe during the Covid-19

pandemic. According to Halbrügge et al., 2021, decreased electricity consumption during the

period caused an opt for sourcing electricity from renewable energy sources. Germany's

electricity uses increased to more than 55%, which caused the government to encourage

renewable energy sources.

Government guidelines projected to deliberate the spread of COVID-19, such as

lockdowns and stay-at-home directives, which eventually changed most people's work and living

habits. A close correlation with the upsurge in telework for many professional occupations

caused the abrupt behavior change to impact the energy consumption outlines that drove energy

demand in housing or commercial constructions during the Covid-19 pandemic. Such alterations

caused an extensive increase in power consumption, resulting in a need for the government and

power supply organizations to prefer renewable energy sources for cost-effective and efficient

energy supply.

Another journal that will help understand the impacts of the pandemic on electricity use

is Krarti & Aldubyan's report titled 'Review Examination of COVID-19 influence on electricity

demand for housing structures.' The paper reviews how the entirely compulsory stay-at-home

directives and government lockdowns affected electricity demand. The method used in this

research was descriptive data analysis based on the collected data about electricity use in

residential buildings during the lockdown. The findings of this report are that higher occupancy

patterns caused an increased household energy demand through daylight hours, resulting in

increased use of energy, eventually causing an opt for renewable energy solutions (Krarti &

Aldubyan, 2021). Renewable energy becomes the most preferable because of the increased

electricity demand.

Krarti & Aldubyan's report specifies that power use has profoundly transformed the

housing edifice division from commercial structures and industrial amenities due to compulsory

lockdowns and stay-at-home instructions in retort to COVID-19. The above report indicates that

the results of the power demand investigation have undoubtedly revealed that energy use, and

thus the cost for homes, is sophisticated because of notable fluctuations in living and tenancy

forms.

The COVID-19 epidemic led to significant variations in our lives, as reported in Krarti &

Aldubyan's journal. The paper focused on the influences of the first upsurge of the COVID-19

epidemic on the electrical energy segment, particularly in Germany. The COVID-19 pandemic

verified that it is possible to participate in an augmented portion of Renewable Energy Springs in

a shifting electricity system at an incessantly high security of supply. The lessened electricity

ingesting and a sophisticated portion of Renewable Energy Sources led to a lesser amount level

on the day-ahead sooq, unlike in the preceding years, and more hours with negative electricity

values. Renewable energy became a reliable and cost-effective job that promoted a constant

energy supply just like before.

The other journal that will help better understand the topic of electricity is Dao et al.'s

Current developments and contests for water evaporation-induced energy in the direction of

submissions. The report reviews the current development of water evaporation-induced power

generation systems to apply electric use in various fields (Dao et al., 2021). Besides that, Nano

energy requests in powering some small electrical devices, energy storing, electrochemical

admission, and electrochemical cells are also elucidated overtly in this work. The paper aims to

understand the cost-effective measures that can be used to meet the varying electricity demands.

The journal also mentions upcoming chances and hitches in developing water evaporation-

induced power generation systems.

The advance of light to water evaporation expertise has realized various happenings as

one of the energy sources. It is persuaded that light-to-steam-made power technology could be

functional in several areas of life after promoting productivity power. This form of energy

production can be considered one of the renewable sources of energy that have proved efficient

and successful in Germany. Local rules can theatrically decrease their carbon trail by acquiring

or directly producing electricity from clean, renewable fonts. The choice of such energy sources

could be why Germany opted for renewable sources as a supply of energy. Light to steam is a

renewable geothermal energy source and promotes a clean and safe environment.

In conclusion, the first journal explains the impacts of energy use, especially during the

Covid-19 epidemic in Germany and other European countries. The second journal explains how

electricity demand in households changed because of the government lockdowns during the

Covid-19 pandemic. The last paper recommends methods of cost-effective energy production.

Leading renewable energy sources to produce minimal global warming emissions and local

governments have promoted renewable energy sources as the leading power supplier utilized

nationally. Therefore, energy production and demand directly correlate, and there should be

efficient and cost-effective means of energy production.

All the selected journals clarify the use of electricity as a comprehensive and significant

source of energy. The first journal is an investigation carried out to clarify the effects that the

COVID-19 pandemic caused during the Covid-19 pandemic. It indicates that most countries

have changed to renewable energy to produce power. The second journal reports how the utterly

enforced stay-at-home directives and government lockdowns affected electricity demand. Such

legalities caused many individuals to spend much time at home during the day, and this caused a

massive increase in energy consumption. The last journal speaks about the cost-effective and

efficient use of Nano energy and highlights the pros and cons of using this type of energy.

Power needs to be cost-effective and readily available since it has become an essential

need in modern life. Therefore, the above articles clarify how vital electricity is to human beings.

They explain how the pandemic caused many households to use more power because they spent

much time at home during the day. Renewable energy provides constant charges and a clean,

recurrent source of energy. Renewable energy is reliable since these sources yield minimal

carbon emissions; they are amply healthier for the atmosphere than old-style fossil energies- a

realization that most countries have implemented.
